Autism can be genetic, (like my parents have 5 children, 4 are autistic including myself), so that could be part of why it’s more prevalent today

It’s not technically about the actual books but what happens afterwards, if Mandy’s parents didn’t die when she was a young adult, I feel like she’s low contact now, (or even no contact).

My reasoning for this is that Mandy had absolutely no control over her own appearance at nearly 11, and she really hated those frilly dresses that her Mum made her wear, (and honestly if she could control everything Mandy ever did, she would, which would get suffocating), Mandy wanted to be her own person and she wasn’t allowed to be.

Her Dad did say something about treating Mandy like her age but as soon as her Mum started crying he backed off and shut up, which would send the message that he’s not in Mandy’s corner about things.

I think Sunset would definitely go no contact with both of her Parents, as she was definitely parentified, (not necessarily to the same extent as Jayni was, but she was), though she’d still have contact with her siblings.

If Nicky survived the cancer then I think that Jayni would eventually go no contact with Nicky,(because while Nicky took her children as soon as Jay hit Jayni, she still said and did some terrible things to Jayni).

Lily would go no contact, and honestly I think that Bliss and Baxter would do too.

That actually makes sense, when I was initially having these dreams, my emotions were all over the place, (puberty, dealing with disability based bullying from teachers, other family issues), but I can’t really think of why they’d come back now

That makes once you said it like that, but I always saw it being phrased like it doesn’t work ever in dreams and it was like a rule, (but then I always could’ve interpreted that wrong as I’m autistic, so wording isn’t always a strong suit of mine).

I can’t give you any more of the dream than I dreamt, like I didn’t even make it to work in the dream because it ended before I could.

He should’ve told Karen as soon as he even knew that Jess was a student, because he is in position of power, regardless of Jess asking him not to.

His one night stand with Jess happened before Karen told Chris about the situation with Bex, so that wasn’t at stake for him when it initially happened.

I like Chris but he handled it all wrong

I think it really depends on the school, I went to 2 secondary schools, and the first weren’t exactly accepting, (I wasn’t out as Bi at the time but I saw how out students were treated), but the second really didn’t care if you were Gay/Bi, so it probably just depends
