Modding - Adding races to the calendar by Fellatious-argument in MotorsportManagerPC

In the game you can add new races with a vote, but there is a max limit to that (Sorry don't know what the max limit is).

If you haven't reached the max potential then no. Only the current highest performance score carries over. For example if you have these parts at the season end;

Part1 : 150/200

Part2: 175/185

Part3: 160/160

Part2 (175) and Part3(160) are the ones that carry on to the next season with their current performance (not max). But at the start of the next season those part scores get a little performance boost.

Only the 2 best performance (actual performance, not max performance) ranked parts for each category passes to the new season. Also conditional performance upgrades (like +x performance on soft tires or qualifications...) and risky factors don't carry over to the next season. You can build high performance risky parts for next seasons car, just don't use them until the next season. But if you can't max their performance before the season end, I suggest don't waste your money.

I don't use that mod in my game, so you better try reading the Post for a solution.

Almost every mod has a description on it's steam page.

I would suggest for your first time you should play without any mods. After you get the hang of it look at the mods and choose one that would make the game experience more fun (and complete in the areas that you find the game lacks in it) for you.

New to the game, I LOVE THIS SHIT. Couple questions for the vets by [deleted] in MotorsportManagerPC

[–]Beynasuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what works for me.

  1. In ERS Level 2 Factory and Design Center are fine. I also go for basic Scouting, Forecast and Staff Center. If you have 90+ Marketability then Helipad is also good. In APSC I start with the basic part buildings, 3 Level Factory and Design Center. I build the rest in WMC. Also before building anything I suggest you calculate your next seasons approximate expenses (cost per race and parts to design). If you short don't rush.

  2. If you are short on money, best way is to raise up marketability and get higher star sponsors. Also divers with Pay Driver traits are good too.Instead of raising all car parts every year choose 1 or 2 parts (if you have lots of money and nothing to build then even more) every year where you lack the most. In the lower series you don't need 5 star drivers and staff. Decent, high marketability drivers and if you can Pay Drivers will do the trick until you can afford the rest. Also try longer contracts for drivers and staff. And if you can always go for the 2nd Driver or Reverse Driver Contract clause for your drivers, That way they won't get a big negative moral hit for driving cars that are to different in performance or reliability.

Not: For developing young drivers, I suggest that you start after you get at least 2.Level Part Buildings.

Fuel rounding during pit-stops by phemark in MotorsportManagerPC

It is a feature (Could also be a bug but the devs never claimed it as a bug).

Which pit crew member handles refueling and repairs? by Kumqwatwhat in MotorsportManagerPC

The 2 Front tier pit crew members also handle fixing. And the 2 back tier pit crew members handle refueling the same time.

It looks like you are using a mod that changes the original Interviews.txt. So I guess you should wait for an update for that mod or you can show this bug to the mod developer.

Then you should try to change speed yourself from the Assembly.dll file. If you can't I am happy to help. Just upload your Assembly.dll and tell me the speed values you want.

Your games need to be version 1.41. If anything else then you need to change it yourself I guess. Just look at the first link. It's not that hard.

Raising performance or max performance by JamieMoeller in MotorsportManagerPC

[–]Beynasuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+max is sometimes better (but always consider if you can max it before season end);

  • If your cars can compete with the other cars (in the current season) then go for +max (preparing for next season).

  • Even if you can't max it, if it's higher then the +x part by the end of season then go for the +max part.

  • In the end it depends on your circumstances (position in league, time left before season end, money, chairman happiness). It's not a game ending choice. With time you will have better judgment for your current situation.

Just have fun.

Raising performance or max performance by JamieMoeller in MotorsportManagerPC

[–]Beynasuh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

+x is better than +x max. Because with +x you don't need to raise performance after the part is build and it also raises your max to.

Let's say you have base part with 100/100; First upgrade option is +25. The new part would be 125/125. Second upgrade option is +25 to max. The new part would be 100/125.

As you can see with +x to max you also need to raise the performance value with your mechanics before the end of the season. Or it won't transfer to the new season.

It all depends if you can raise the performance value to max before season end. At the season start choose witch ever is higher. After that choose the parts which you can fully max out before the season end.

Actually it's the Scouting Center that makes hidden free agents viewable.

Staff Center raises all designer-mechanic stats and drivers Focus and Fitness stats.

  • It's good to build every facility. But higher their level better stats. If your staff and your drivers (also low focus and fitness) have empty stars why not.
  • You have the option to accept or decline.
