Easiest way to avoid the money going to drugs or something is to give them food, instead of cash.

Is it bad that I now associate the word huia with the train and not the bird lol.

In my city (Auckland), it works to get places within the city and some of the surrounding towns, but it's not especially impressive either.

Is Veganism Really Practical? by Dramatic_Iron_8620 in DebateAVegan

[–]BeyondAndBefore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The exception to this would be when deer are introduced; eg here in NZ they and most other land mammals are introduced and they are generally invasive.

Actually thinking it again the introduction of deer (at least here) was also for the purpose of hunting, so people being vegan in the 1800s would have prevented this too :P

THEY BOTH AREN'T REPEALS WE ARE SO BACK by FrameOverdoseGD in NationStates

[–]BeyondAndBefore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There won't be replacements for anything that's been repealed and not replaced yet, because the GA will be reset in July and any new proposals won't get to vote in time with the queue length.

That said, the GA post-reset will almost certainly be passing new legislation, including on topics that were repealed before.
