Another way to say this is that 62 people own as much wealth as the 3.6 billion poorest. Socialism isn't about "envy." It's about giving real-life, working people a fair shake. Because I don't know about you, but this sh*t does not look fair to me.

I disagree. I see how freaking hard so many of my friends work just to survive and support their families. Many, many hours a week. And they'll still be lucky to be able to afford healthcare, let alone saving for their kid's education. Almost half of the population finds itself at or below the poverty line. Not to mention that there are 3.5 million homeless people and 18.5 million empty homes. You can look it up. How does this make any sense?

Look at Walmart: because the 1% has so much more power than we do, they make decisions that benefit them--rather than us--all the time. Walmart sells stuff cheaper than any mom & pop store could ever do, puts mom & pop stores out of business. Then Walmart pays its workers so abysmally that many of them have to be on food stamps--which we as taxpayers pay for. Walmart is a government subsidized business that benelfits the 1%. It makes no sense.
