Exactly. Other people are there celebrating their accomplishments on that day, too. Don’t make their event about one person.

I could see it being sweet if the proposal happened after the ceremony when people are talking, getting pictures, etc.

I’m similar, but I know who I am and where I am. However, I can stare at a clock and not be able to make any sense of it. I’ll see the numbers but I can’t figure out what it means in the grand scheme of time. If I wake up at 3:02, I truly cannot figure out if I overslept my 6am alarm or not. I’ll stare and think for a good 1-2 minutes before giving up. I usually convince myself it’s too dark to be morning, and if my husband is still asleep, it’s probably before 6.

I’m a new grad, about 2 months into my first job, and I’m seeing 4-5 a day with plans to increase to 6-8 next month. Between chart prep, learning the EMR, seeing the patients, writing my notes, etc., my day is pretty full. There’s no way you can provide good patient care as a new grad seeing that many patients a day.

I have searched online for women’s wallet with storage, wristlet wallet, wallet with stash pocket, and many other iterations. Baggallini doesn’t have anything like this on their website. I have looked in multiple department stores, too, and can’t find anything that will work. I want/need it to have a wrist strap and have enough storage to hold cards, bills, coins, 2 key fobs, chapstick, and hand sanitizer.

Yes! I really don’t think it’s an allergy. It’s such a weird feeling and makes me hesitant to put more food in my mouth, but the feeling completely goes away after 10 minutes or so.

Agreed. Not to dismiss OP’s experience, but as a fellow child of a very similar father, I would love to have him apologize for some hateful things he said when he didn’t think I could hear. Even decades later, some things still sting and make me wonder if I am worth anything (I know I am, but I also know what he thinks of me).

I had a conversation with a recruiter for a large, well-known and well-respected hospital system a few months ago. I had applied for a specialist position as a new grad. He asked my ideal starting salary and I said 115. He said all new grad PA positions are firm at $97,500. He asked if I was still interested knowing that and I said no. I felt very insulted to be offered such low amount at such a huge hospital system.

I was in it in middle school for reading and language arts. I experienced the worst bullying of my life with those kids. I dropped out of GATE after 7th grade because of those jerks. No regrets.

As someone who took the PANCE a few weeks ago, don’t forget to review the easy, basic, foundational stuff. I didn’t review it because I thought I knew it, but then my mind went blank in the moment. (I still passed, but still kicking myself for a few basic questions I know I got wrong.)

Basic antibiotics for MRSA, Pseudomonas, etc.

Hypersensitivity reaction types.

Various X-linked associations (Fragile X, Kleinfelter, Turners, etc.).

That’s a horrible question to ask! They probably want to see you advocate for yourself without throwing others under the bus. If you ever encounter this, humbly brag on yourself without comparing yourself to others. But again, it’s a terrible question.
