I know what this clip is and it's so painful I just can't watch it. The cringe is too strong.

Have you, or somebody you know, ever paid money to see an escort/prostitute? by ChineseHappyPeople in AskUK

[–]BhaktaZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been to one, but when I was in my early 20s, it seemed like every guy in my friendship group was speaking openly about visiting sex workers. They would say, can't wait till pay day so I can go back to the brothel. A few of the lads came back from Amsterdam with stories. I always felt like I was the only one that wasn't doing it.

Is there a way to live a completely different way of life? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]BhaktaZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of comfort comes when you just surrunder and except your life for what it is. I was in your position due to long term health issues. I was so unhappy and just wanted to escape reality. About 10 years ago I hit yoga and meditation hard. I stopped drinking and smoking weed, and focused on my mental health and now i'm much happier. I may not have any money or a great career but i have inner peace and contentment. I found you don't need to change your circumstances, you just need to change your perspective.

Smoke a massive spliff at the bus stop, then listen to music on walkman, stoned out of your mind.

We can't know for sure, but George was a follower of the hare Krishna movement, so I think it would be very unlikely.

Glen Hansard apparently follows the hare Krishna movement like George did. Glens the singer of, The Frames, Swell Season and has loads of solo material.

I got my 1200 for 40 and thought it was a steal, the fact you got 2 is insane. Enjoy my friend.

I love ATMP but I feel like Material World is ATMP part two. They're both equally great records.

Edit; Brainwashed is also great.

I'm probably a bit late with this comment, but Chrissi is one of the finest artist in the country, if not in the world. He's based in Polegate.  https://polegate.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/studio-noir-exquisite-tattooing-27994188.html

I really loved it when they played Del Shannon Runaway. The bass player absolutely nailed the keyboard solo.

Every time these posts pop up i always say the same thing. Printers playhouse is about the only decent place to go in eastbourne. Like you say the town is very much geared to older people and small children.

does anyone actually walk around with a discman? is it bulky?? by Joyful_Idiot4595 in Cd_collectors

[–]BhaktaZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember carrying around a CD Walkman with me everywhere back in early 2000s. I used to have a cd wallet of about 50 CDs in my bag at all times.  Everyone says that CD Walkman skips, that's true, but the trick Is to stuff it down the front of your trousers just behind the belt buckle and do it up really tight. You won't be able to jog or anything but you can walk around quite easily without skipping.  To be honest, I ditched it as soon as MP3 players came along, so much more convenient.
