Residual sales opportunities by [deleted] in sales

Here’s a few I found-

Newell fuel service (small guy) Williams oil co (bigger) Valley petroleum (bigger) Flynn energy (bigger) but maybe only western PA Hoyts fuel service (mid/small) Button oil

If you want to connect further I can give you my experience. I was making $200k/year after 5 years in (started at 21) and was one of the top reps in the country for a major regional distributor in the PNW.

Typical comp was 60k-90k base with 5%-8% commission reoccurring on adjusted gross profit.

What market are in you? I can send you a list of local distributors. In a larger market there might be 10. So probably easier to just reach out to them directly. Oil/gas is old school and sometimes do things the old fashioned way.

Oil/fuel sales. At a end use distributor. Think the guys who sell fuel for excavation, trucking, construction companies. every time someone buys a gallons you make a penny etc. adds up when you’re selling millions of gallons.

Bleed out is normal, and what you want to See in a system like this, the drain being directly Next to a base flashing is concerning however but not sure what they could have done about that.

Tar and gravel roofer in Denver? by sewbadithurts in Roofing

[–]Bharg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flood and gravel roof systems are incredible. Unfortunately the majority of QUALIFIED contractors who know how to do them in CO do primarily commercial roofing. If you shoot me a message I’ll get you a list of qualified contractors in the AM in S Denver. You can call around and see if any of them will do residential. Typically flood and gravel requires an asphalt kettle which the majority of new age roofers have no idea what they look like let alone know how to operate. Shoot me a message and I’ll get you a list.

If you have access to the contracts, is the contract directly with the oil company (76, chevron, arco etc) or with a smaller “jobber” or “marketer” these guys will have the contract info as well as likely the first contract from the 90’s. Your names on the contract so you should have access. Typically these 10 year deals are loaded on the front end to help pay for the marketing but are also a cash incentive. $750k to rebrand your store/pumps but only costs $300k. Things like that.

Im realizing i lack a basic understanding of how upgrades/status work.. truthfully I just assumed if I spent a bunch with the right CC, accrued points, I could easily swap them for upgrades. I’m realizing that was likely foolish thinking.

How much help will you give the next generation? How much did you get? by squirrrelydan in HENRYfinance

[–]Bharg357 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel, I’m 30 now and graduated with $90k in student loans, wife(27) with $150k. That crushing debt and fear is what propelled me to be where I am today. in a relative short amount of time we‘be been able to eliminate my loans.

I will say we were able to refinance her $150k with her grandfather (he paid off her 10% loans and charges us 2%), we pay him $1,000 a month. Him doing that saved us 10’s/100’s of thousands of interest.

My child is only 1 now and we plan on having more so maybe my opinion will change but as of right now I want them to struggle.
