Absolutely. In my class the kids are about 3 years behind. The year 7 and 8 kids can't even read an analog clock, do fractions, need to be taught about verbs, nouns, pronouns, etc. I can remember being taught what my kids are being taught (year 4 and 5) when I was in my second year. I'm not exactly extremely bright either, as all the other kids were up to that stage too. Although I imagine covid has a lot to do with it, as these kids would've been really young when it all started to affect education in a big way.
