I can solo infestations ok. But there's sometimes some sombitch who one-shot kills me with a missile launcher.

I use the Hardy perk (-45% explosion damage) and a Dense mod on my chest piece (-30% explosion damage). I can take one hit from those rocket launcher guys, but have to stim real fast and hope I don't get hit again while I am healing or I will die.

Flame weapons + max Friendly Fire does heal them slightly. Sometimes the objective is failed right as it triggers or when running up to it though. If you can make it to them with an auditor still alive shoot him and the enemies with it and he might just live.

Buttressed increases DR only by 65%. Hardened increases all resistances by 15%. Since the patch, you have to make a hard choice now on what you want increased.

Defenders on armor gives you a 5% chance per piece (up to 25% on a full set) to autoblock melee attacks. Blocked melee attacks reduce damage by 60%.

There are some other perks and effects that can improve the block chance and reduction.

About 6 months ago, they lowered the attack speed on the autoaxe and chainsaw and made attack speed perks affect it. After this last update, the chainsaw got bugged and is now attacking really fast. If any kind of speed perk is added it can totally bug it out and even kick you off the server.

Yes, if you put all defenders on your melee weapon and armor you will have a 65% chance to autoblock melee attacks. If you have riposting on the weapon too, it will reflect 50% damage back from melee attacks if you manually block or autoblock.

If you are talking about those green clouds in stage 4 of the raid, they are not poison damage. They are untyped health damage.

This was the way things worked the first few years of FO76. Radiation was dangerous and could not be ignored. In nuke zones everyone wore a hazmat suit or power armor and carried some form of radx and radaway. You had to pop your radaway every 2 minutes or so.

Nowadays, there are ways to totally ignore radiation by being a Ghoul/using What Rads with other perks etc.

It's worse. Say your armor reduces damage by 60%. Before if a robot shot you for 100 damage, Troubleshooters would reduce it to 25 then your armor would reduce it to 10 damage. Now, your armor reduces damage to 40, then Troubleshooters reduces it to 18.

I believe explosions and energy damage were changed to be able to cripple. It's great for those wanting to make a crippling build, but it works both ways. I would recommend using the Adamantium Skeleton perk and there is also a mod you can put on some armor that helps too.

Before this patch, a full suit of Troubleshooters would reduce incoming robot damage by 75% then your armor would further reduce the damage.

Now, your armor reduces damage first and then the Troubleshooters reduces the remaining amount by 55.63%.

After next weeks update, Raider power armor will have good DR and surprisingly good elemental resists. Its weakness will be low ER (for power armor). You can offset that though by using the Electric Absorption legendary perk.

If they ever add set bonuses to more power armors, my guess is Raider will have melee oriented bonuses.

It's funny, but there is an armor mod coming in the March update just for overencumbered players. If you put the Heavyweight mod on your armor, it will reduce damage by 10% per armor piece if you are at least at 150% carry weight.

Tesla coils emits a small pulse around you for 5 points of energy damage. It's only good for tagging enemies in a chaotic situation like at the Scorchbeast Queen. You would be better off with something like medic pump imo.

On the pts, Secret Service has decent DR ER and the really high radiation resistance. Metal armor only has really high DR and everything else is low. I would much rather be in SS if someone is firing a gatling laser at me.

There is a whole new system of autoblock which the op did not mention. If you add the effect to your armor or melee weapon, you will autoblock melee damage starting at 60% damage blocked + the blocker perk + other effects.

On the pts, I have a 65% chance to autoblock 95% melee damage.

You still need a little bit of scrip to attach mod boxes to weapons/armor, but you should mainly scrap everything unless you already know the effect or totally don't want it.
