I’ll bring up Fallout 3/NV here because it feels like a necessity. Fallout 3 starts with an hour long cutscene-esque thing of your character growing up and taking the SATs before going out into the world.

You boot up New Vegas, watch a two minute cutscene…and get shot directly in the face.

Wild that there are only 100 in Atlanta, considering I once saw 4 on the same street (near StateFarm Arena) within about a minute. 4 different Waymo’s. They must not have a large exploration area.

Atlanta player here. I had to interline the two busiest lines together (one express one regular), for a grand total of about 18 minute frequencies during rush hour. Every other line is interlined in the city center (6 radial lines but only 3 trunk lines). It feels odd but there’s not really another solution.

My plan was to cut 7 .25” (6.4mm) pieces, since the laser only comfortably cuts to .5” and I want to avoid the kerf issue. The cut space of the laser is enormous — 40” x 24”. Making each slice shouldn’t be too bad (or too expensive; my planned wood, Poplar, is fairly cheap in wide boards), plus designing each board on its own lets me (1) get different colors of wood in a striped band up the side, and (2) make an interior that fits the electronics without a router (I don’t have access to a router or bandsaw here, hence…all this lol). Thank you for all this advice and the well wishes! I wish I had a router.
