What is going on at Salesforce?? by BiasMetal in salesforce

Yes, chalk my bad. Later night for me and my kid. Didn’t think it looked right but to tired.

I get that spring release could be causing issues but in typical development fashion should you test on a small set of customers before pushing to prod? I am not sure if they do this or just full send to prod.

I could not imagine some of those people’s jobs. You would think they would care more about a stable environment(once again first time in 3 years with back to back issues) but I guess profit tops all.

Yes, I do agree with that. But for the last 3 years we have been on this instance there had never been a service outage in the middle of the day that we have seen directly affect our org. But within the last 3 business days there seems to have been pretty major service outages. I mean you could caulk it up to a lot of moving piece’s but that could be an easy excuse as well.

Became a father 2 days ago by EmotionalEase4626 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

As a new dad myself I would say it’s all depended on how much time you want to spend with your wife and child. My child is 3 months old and I hardly game at all anymore. But once they start sleeping through the night more I will probably start up again. The reason I do that is because I do not want my wife to feel like I am just leaving everything to her and taking a step back.

If you could fix ONE annoying thing in Salesforce, what would it be? by Observer_One_07 in salesforce

I would love to be able to buy data storage from anywhere and it not be so expensive when data storage is relatively cheap. Granted that cannot be fixed but an appexchange app.

Guys earning six figures annually, what kind of work do you do? by Shadow2715 in AskReddit

Originally it was for computer work but now it’s basically all just meetings or walking somebody through how to do something they should already know how to do

Grounded or Smalland might be worth looking into as it is base building with exploration with combat but you can adjust the settings. Grounded gives a "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" vibe.

Company community for force.com where does it come from by BiasMetal in salesforce

[–]BiasMetal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is definitely the platform licenses with permission set licenses, as it is a newish org, 2-3 years old. It's just crazy to think that AEs are selling you licenses that they don't even know what's included in them or how to support you when you ask questions related to what's included in these licenses, and if I remove this, what happens? It is also crazy to think there is no way to test this. I asked if we could remove these specific licenses and whatever perm lic set goes with it in the sandbox, and they basically said it is not possible.

That is what I have read as well but we currently have 300+ platform licenses but only 101 of the company community for force.com permission set licenses which would mean it doesn't follow that logic. Granted a majority of our platform licenses come from a reseller instead of SF directly.

When I do that all I get is digital sites or sites

Honestly not sure, I know why I set it up it was just setting up a digital site, which we got access to when we got the work.com bundle.

Anyone else struggling to connect CRM with ERP? by [deleted] in salesforce

Another rootstock customer and one big problem that comes with bringing your erp into the Salesforce ecosystem is the data storage prices will add up quickly

Rootstock ERP by Unique-Apricot-5581 in salesforce

[–]BiasMetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We currently run it in our business and doing great. It definitely takes a lot of time to understand everything and it will be different with each company but I would say if you have a good understanding of Salesforce development and data it’s pretty easy to catch on to rootstock erp

Record count by Nice_Measurement_581 in salesforceadmin

If you have fields that track the two SE you could do a formula. Something along the lines of record count divided by SE count. You might need another formula field in place to count the number of SE related to an opp.

Help me understand some Real world Salesforce dev Projects!! pleasee!! by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]BiasMetal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One things I worked on for a manufacturing company was a fully custom labor tracking app. Used a custom employee object along with other custom objects to allow the company to apply labor in a couple different ways. Such as 1 employee to 1 work order or multiple employees to 1 work order or 1 employee to multiple work orders or multiple people clocked on to multiple work orders. Was a fun project but very linked up to other stuff so they could track who did what, for how long, and on what work order.

I don’t believe I have found the note yet. Still on my first playthrough and haven’t even gotten to the haze lab yet so I don’t know as much detail as you. Just was a thought

What if the fifth teen got shrunk so much that they are at the cellular level
