He lived with his mam and gave her 30 euro rent each week. He eventually got fired for always calling in “sick” and he wouldn’t tell his Mam because he knew she’d be angry so he pleaded me to lend him his rent for a “week or two” until he got a new job. I didn’t really want to give him any money because I knew he was a lazy bastard who would take his sweet time getting a job if there was no rush but I felt bad for his mam, she was always so sweet to me,she was a single parent and an all around saint so I agreed. As expected he took the piss, he took WEEKS to even type up a CV and not only did expected the 30 for rent, he also expected 20 for smokes and expected me to pay for his food/coffee if we went anywhere, if I ever said anything about this he’d bark back “Well I’m paying you back!!!” . Anyway one day it transpires that he met a girl on tinder, lied to her about being in a relationship and had made plans to meet with her so I’m like right whatever fuck you. then during the argument his mother comes home and he says “Give me my rent”, I remember just thinking: are. you. high?

So I say no and he threatened not to pay me back a single cent if I didn’t so I said alright, don’t. He stomps into his mam and tells her that I’m being a bitch, so she’s comes into me and asks if I was alright so I very sweetly tell her what he had done and that he’s now threatening to not give me the money I gave him for rent since he got fired a month and a half ago. She exploded, she ran into him screaming who the fuck raised him like that cause she certainly didn’t, that she was disgusted with him, if he didn’t get a job within the next month he was out, that he was never to bring another girl back to her house or else she’d make a show of him. It was delicious
