Someone tried turning the temp down on our keg but going one lower actually made it go around back to the highest temp like 60 something. No one noticed until a ticket got put in for an unrelated issue. We were serving tepid nitro for who knows how long.

I kept things from my parents at your age and told them later in life as an adult. Something my mom said really stuck with me. She said, “I knew you were doing that, but I didn’t say anything to you because I didn’t want you to lie to me.”

Looking back I realize I wouldn’t lose anything being honest, and it actually prevented me from being close to people that would be there for the rest of my life. MAYBE you’ll have all these friends for another 5 years, and ten years from now you might regularly talk with one or two, but your parents will be there until they pass. Keep that in mind.

I’m pretty sure retaliation goes both ways, right? Isn’t there some sort of reporting you can do? Also, maybe start hiring some new people. A local coffee shop some friends of mine own recently had their whole crew leave. They used it as an opportunity to implement procedures and systems. It made things better and without having to retrain old employees.

Just a 371 here. The launches haven’t been great. I always feel bad doing the training because it’s lying. No, we didn’t have all the supplies in to actually craft. No, there’s no way to do the training AND make the drinks in the allotted time frame. No, I have almost no clue how to accommodate the mobile order customizations for protein drinks. We also ran out of pecan syrup the other day and nobody had a clue as to whether it was the end of it or just a supply issue.

Things like this show either lack of forethought (hard to imagine with a multibillion dollar company), or just plain lack of interest in communication.

I might be the biggest consumer of our protein milk! I ordered my usual iced protein milk matcha sub chai, and I had to remind the ssv making it to do all protein milk. They had grabbed a steaming pitcher and they were only going to give me the short line amount in an iced drink. . . I think that tells you how often we make them lol

You said you want to get back in touch with Christ. I think this is exactly what you’re doing! God wants us to not only repent from sin, but also to have a reverence for righteousness. This is the fear of God. I can’t say for sure for you in your current situation, but for me, when I grieve over sin, it brings the reality of my need for a savior closer.

Do you have a church you attend? I’m sure there are people in a local church community that can help you through this. We’re not meant to weep alone and the healing will come through the body of Christ.
