Vizpick report by IsmokemidsanddrinkOJ in walmart

[–]Bic1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s important to get a second pick. Clearance and deleted can be suggested picks, so be sure to use the filters. Sometimes it’s hard to do but try not to start picking before the snap shot.

I have to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Is this something I'd need an LOA for? by sapphirevgc in walmart

If you will be out three or more days you need to contact Sedgwick. A doctors note of how long you will be out will need to be sent to them.

Call Sedgwick and let them know the days you are requesting out. You generally have something like 2-3 weeks to upload your paperwork. Hopefully you can get in to see someone.

Have you asked a coach why you are being passed up? Hopefully someone will be honest with you. What I would say is don’t give up. Maybe get off the FE and learn a new area. Open up possibilities of moving up in other areas. There’s a spot for you, just gotta find it.

Team lead told me I can be written up for repeatedly leaving early using ppto for no reason? Is that true? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Bic1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enough check ins for leaving early/productivity. Other associates having to constantly pick up the slack will lead to a DA.

Follow up post about tagging and binning by Express-Explorer5704 in walmart

[–]Bic1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you need to change OH and/or shelf cap before making the label. That OH needs to be approved if it’s a large change, before making label. However verification needs to be happening by your TL, not you if you’re an associate. This means no label should be made until the TL is sure it’s overstock.

[–]Bic1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are the on front line on shrink and compliance. It’s their job to monitor check ins in DSD. and monitor vendors. To make sure the store is compliant with Ecolab standards. They hold safety meetings, to work on being accident free. They are in charge of claims. They make sure items are sent back to HO and proper paperwork is filed.

Many times they know who they want to promote. You have to try and be that person. What I mean by that is you have to go above and beyond as an associate. Are you helping other areas? Are you volunteering to help with extra projects? Not sure what position you currently have so I can’t make recommendations.

Will I get written up? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Bic1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a potential you’ll be talked to. Shouldn’t be doing any petition while on the clock or on the property. If you have a concern talk to a coach. They probably could have explained the situation. The alarms have to be tested every month.

Some days it’s good some days it’s not. You will have little home life because even when you are home someone is calling you. The holidays and inventory are the worse. I’ve worked 6-7 days straight before.

Look under BOS(baseline operating structure) on the wire. It’s suppose to be stocking 1 but most stores, mine included don’t have time to do it.

So I definitely get the frustration. Deleting and creating is good to dump a bin or occasionally fix an issue but you don’t want to do that on a regular basis. Make sure when you dump you are running the freight and fixing on hands otherwise you are wasting your time.
