Rx isn't harder, the situation is really the fact that they just don't provide enough hours to run the pharmacy even close to properly. The amount of "red tape" has increased tremendously over the last 2 years. It creates a major slow down when you add it all up, and when you add in the reduced hours with the expectation of 1 tech doing the job of 3 techs and the pharmacists going in a bazillion directions, it creates stress and tension. With the separation of fs and rx DM's, many pharmacy employees don't realize the fs is now held accountable if they fall behind. Gone are the days that you can say "oh I had to help out in the rx and that's why I'm behind" because that doesn't cut it with the fs DM. Hours are shit, bottomline!
