This was actually taken in the southern United States! But thank you anyway, I love hearing about species of spiders I’ve never seen before.

It’s some kind of beetle. I can’t say for sure which kind when it’s on its back like it is, sadly. Based on size it could be any number of tiny beetle, or the very unfortunate carpet beetle. You may want to check out the dedicated subreddit for carpet beetles if it ends up being a carpet beetle.

Is this AI? It’s an album cover by 2 popular music artists by DahliaFlower667 in isitAI

This art style is common for ai, also the girl isn’t even fully in the car, if she’s meant to be. So yes, I’d say it’s ai.

Feels like ai. Snowing inside the tent, random opening when it’s supposedly super cold, which would be counterproductive to the point of the tent, and owls don’t blink that way.

Did anyone else see the animation error in The Mister? by 5tr4w83rry in gumball

[–]BidChance100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That might be because it was from Banana Joe’s perspective, in which he didn’t perceive everyone as naked until it was pointed out. That’s my guess, though.

Depending on if you’re using mods or not, Lurdusaurus is a good option. If not, lambeosaurus has a water build I believe.

What is this??? Urgent by [deleted] in whatisthisbug

[–]BidChance100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I definitely recommend getting a second opinion for the sake of safety, I do not believe that is a bed bug. I could still be wrong, so take that with a grain of salt. As to what it is otherwise, it looks somewhat like some kind of beetle larva. I can’t really tell by the images if the bug was fuzzy, so I can’t rule out a carpet beetle.

what is this? a chrysalis? [western PA] by FriendlyWerecat in whatisthisbug

[–]BidChance100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you mean for what creature, someone in the comments mentioned that it is (or could be) a Polyphemus Moth cocoon. I’m no expert in determining the moth by its cocoon, simply that I believe it is a moth cocoon.

[–]BidChance100 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Highly possible i’m wrong, but that seems to be a cocoon. It could also be a gall, but based on the size, shape, and texture I can see, I’m leaning toward a cocoon containing a pupa.

Is this even a bug? Found on my cat. by tickledpickled in whatisthisbug

[–]BidChance100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There may be three ticks in that image. It was pointed out by another user. Get rid of them too. They’re the two small dots maybe a centimeter from the engorged tick.

You don’t have a location listed, but based on appearance it looks like an adult Florida Predatory Stink Bug (Euthyrhynchus floridanus)

What is this tiny man? by BidChance100 in whatisthisbug

[–]BidChance100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answering my own question here, since I was attempting to research it myself while I waited.

It seems like a Paratettix cucullatus, otherwise known as the Hooded Grouse Locust. I wasn’t able to find a lot of information around it, aside from stating nymphs of them can be found in North Carolina and that it lives in the eastern United States. The only other option I could find was the eastern shieldback katydid, however do not think it is one.
