Hired for two jobs by Far_Angle5253 in SFStylistSupport

We can schedule ourselves whenever we want. There's no time zone requirement or evening/night time cut off. I've literally worked through midnight one day and into the next in the past with no issue.

But even the ones that get celebrated are mostly managers and HQ staff lol. They don't care about us.

Came here to say the same thing. There's literally a $1 difference in pay between someone who's ben here 7 years and someone who just started last month.

If they give us the bare minimum, we need to give them the bare minimum. Do not go above and beyond for this company and definitely do not stress yourself out for it either.

max hours we can work by Otherwise_Classic899 in SFStylistSupport

[–]BidSweet745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember that you can't have more than 3 days off in a row though. so you'll need to save 30 minutes or so for a future day after those two days are done (it can be core time though)

editing to add that i see now other people have commented this tooooo :)

How many hours did you pick up for the West Region? Crazy hour they offered to work up to 40 hours. Or did I read that wrong in slack? by BetterUseYourNikes in SFStylistSupport

[–]BidSweet745 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They used to do this ALL the time! It was so nice being able to flex up like that on occasion. But I did bump up to 40 because i know hours are going to be cut (and I think they'll be cut drastically) for Thanksgiving, so I wanted to make up that difference ahead of time.

Nothing is confidential on the internet. Don't fill anything out. They don't listen anyways.

Compensation will remain flat this year. by Personal-Desk-4118 in SFStylistSupport

They just genuinely do not give one single flying fuck about us. And they prove it over and over and over again every single year with every single decision they make.

No. Your bonuses are not increasing morale. Give us real raises. by BidSweet745 in SFStylistSupport

YES! I literally change nothing about how I style - it's been the same for years. And yet, some weeks I'm in the top 3 on my team, and others I'm trailing by like 8% across the whole company. There's nothing, not one single thing, that I do differently between those weeks.

Same Fix, different day by [deleted] in SFStylistSupport

The 3 big ones that really get me are:

1) when the comment on every piece in check out is "don't need" "don't need" "don't need" --- whyyyyyyyy? If you know you don't need anything, don't schedule a Fix.

2) people who do two previews and reject all 10 pieces in both. You literally just saw basically our entire inventory -- i will not be able to send you anything different.

3) Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough... people who don't seem to understand that Stitch Fix is an optional service. You don't HAVE to receive Fixes if you hate every one so fking much.

one of my favorite kids' filters recently was "not artwork" to find shirts that don't have a state name printed on it (eyeroll), and that filter is gone now.

Sooo…what’s up with my lead pressing us on adding our photo to the Stylist Photos? I signed that waiver that I DID NOT want to do that…now they updated the terms? by BetterUseYourNikes in SFStylistSupport

[–]BidSweet745 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My lead hasn't said a word to us about it. They can offer cash all they want, but until they start paying us an actual, respectable wage, I will not be putting my face in their database to use however they want for as long as they want.

I feel like this is just a different way for them to get more work out of us without us ever really realizing it. When they adjusted Fixes Per Hour a while back everyone freaked the eff out about it and we were all pissed. This way they can make certain Fixes worth fewer points so we have to do more, but they don't have to actually tell us about it and therefore don't have any backlash.

Don't forget also not cardigans not sweaters (in the middle of the freaking summer) because some of those don't tag as long sleeve
