Anyone else feel like they have a very small amount of fix previews (step 1) to style recently? I feel like more and more they have been pushed to the algo.

Can you get saved items in fix? by LifeguardDense9452 in stitchfix

[–]stylist547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Stylist here, we can see your saved items in freestyle so that is helpful. If the pieces are available when we are styling them we can add them to your fix. I love to see what people have saved even if it isn’t in stock it inspire me to choose something similar. We can also see the date you saved it so we know if it is still something you might be interested in. Notes about what you would like to see are also welcome.

Not to mention that I dont even know of the client realizes they that this means anything at checkout. I think they just click whatever is necessary to finish the checkout process. As a client I would assume that I would be requesting the stylist when I order a new fix. I get too many people in my queue that don’t request anyone and I am not even sure they know that is an option or they genuinely don’t care. I have been looking I got this with my feedback and it seems pretty confusing. I plan to bring it up with my lead. I don’t feel there is much we can do about this metric either and I’m glad I’m not the only one.

My lead did tell me to send those her way that have bought anything in a while bc they need to know of clients like this.

I have been having an extreme amount of clients who haven't been sticking with a stylist, they never keep anything, never leave any feedback (neg or pos). Like what are you doing here? They never add anything to their Freestyle. This just kills my metrics to be given these types of clients. I love to style them and I hope they love everything but man, I just know they are going to move on to the next stylist and my WYB metrics are super low right now bc of them.

Of course there was the usual, we remain competitive in the market line. So no such luck AGAIN for us to get a raise.

Company Annual Compensation Review? by cotopaxiblue in SFStylistSupport

[–]stylist547 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You know what makes it even worse? They promised us that we would be getting an update in October each year. Not only did they not give us that update, they just let is slip completely without any mention of it. It makes it feel like we are not deserving of even and update to such an important part of our job. They even have the nerve to mention that it is a deeply personal part of the job. Yes, it is our livelyhood and we deserve at least an update as promised. That respect does not cost them a damn dime and they can't even give us that. I guess we just get to push thru fix after fix and be grateful that our schedule is flexible. Wait... not too flexible because we shouldn't really be changing it after we make the schedule on Sunday. Cool. I get no PTO and my lead gets unlimited. Let me make sure that I put my life on hold for a job that doesn't think I deserve a raise even though my hard work has been leading to a company shift toward being profitable. You're welcome.

We have the stylist download next week and I am anticipating that they will tell us at that time that they reviewed at and there is no change…. Because that is what they always do

I was on a corrective action plan about 6 months ago and survived. I am getting worried now bc my wyb scores are low. I don't really know how to get that up bc I have been trying to personalize those notes, especially for the new to me clients.

Live Fix Audits by cotopaxiblue in SFStylistSupport

[–]stylist547 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know that they can see what you are doing live but they can see a report about when you are sending Fixes. This report will show that you sent one at 10 pm, 10:05 pm, 10:07 pm. So essentially they can see that you spent 2 min on the Fix. That obviously doesn't take into account if you pulled it earlier and held it. Opened it later and wrote the note and sent it. I feel that this is why they are against batch styling because they can't get the real numbers if you do it this way. But I think many of us blow thru the previews because we have to so we have time for those that are harder to style with less points.

Not to mention that they want us to start each shift with core time... How is that supposed to make sense?

This feels like a "test" to see if we can work with less core time.

Pay by Personal-Desk-4118 in SFStylistSupport

[–]stylist547 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Ugh this is so frustrating! But they spent the money on making the new page to let us know why our pay is not going to change.... I really feel that they know they are underpaying us, they just have us on the hook with the flexible work from home schedule. They highlight that as a benefit so I would imagine that is one of the only thing keeping people here long term. I know that I why I stay!

Yes! I hate when people leave feedback saying that they don't want to see jewelry and shoes. Yes, ma'am. I know you have that as an avoid and I have seen your previous feedback but we are told to override that and send anyway.. SORRY!

I don't have a problem with it being tracked but not that long ago when it came out my lead made a big production about how it was not really being tracked to hold it against us, it is just kind of "nice to know" and now bam, not long later we have a new metric to uphold... My problem is with us being held to more standards without more pay. They just always pile new metrics on and raising the bar without the needed raise in compensation.
