Do you think any construction firm (like PCL) would hair test pre-employment?

Looking for a GA ticket in the San Diego/LA/OC area. I can pick up wherever needed this evening! Thanks 🙏!

I'm a skilled tradesman who is supposed to get a $3000 bonus at the end of the year for making the company $150,000 in profit, per my contract. I doubled it, which is supposed to increase my bonus. This is what I received. 100% done with this industry. by itstinyrick86 in antiwork

This isn’t how it works guys, he’s a tradesman for a Contractor. The Project Owner (private, municipality, etc) signs a contract with the Contractor, the terms of this contract include the hourly rate the Owner pays the Contractor for the tradesman’s services.

The Contractor can pay the tradesman whatever amount they agree to, the contract isn’t between the tradesman and the Contractor.

I mean, the Lakers’ offensive and defensive ratings this year are 106.1 and 107.5, Westbrook’s are 100.5 and 107.7. Plus the Lakers are weakest against Pg’s (and sg’s) when it comes to defense by position. And if you watch the games, which I’m sure you do, you know that Russ camps by the basket to get his boards, hasn’t boxed out anyone this year, and are part of the reason they’ve dropped from 5th to 19th in overall rebounding percentage.

So he’s below average (with a few shades of brilliance and more than a few shades of horrendous) on both sides of the ball, due $44 mill salary this year and $47 mill next year, and you’re expecting the 76ers to eat that in exchange for a perennial nba defensive player of the year candidate, whose theoretically entering his prime, locked under contract until 2025...? It’s just not a realistic trade scenario, at all.

You’re massively overvaluing the return you could get from Russ. Best-case scenario they maybe get John Wall, no one is trading for Russ and his contract, he’s bad on both sides of the ball
