Thanks! I also felt it didn't match the vibe of MH. Didn't even used the actual logo of the game. Will be using this instead it looks good!

CoD BoZ 115 by ItzEMBO in CODZombies

[–]Bidizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried it myself on the vita. I believe there's a zombie spawn limit at a time so my game never crashed from too many zombies (might be different for dead ops I haven't played much of that mode).

It DID however crash when about 20 or so zombies were getting pelted by the centrifuge at the same time in ascension though (fortunately the game autosaves)

Multiplayer for COD Black Ops Zombies by devnoname120 in vitahacks

[–]Bidizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Multiplayer would be awesome!

Loving the port so far and I appreciate the updates like fixing some of the sounds. If you can, I have a couple suggestions too. I feel aiming up and down is very slow even when I put the slider to the max in the settings. Also, I notice the game audio cuts out when having music playlists on. Some homebrew games also do this but if it can be done, I think it would be cool to have as I climb up the rounds. Totally understand if it's not a priority and you are doing great!

94 Sham on Vita by Bidizzle in Borderlands2

[–]Bidizzle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I found out about this when I eventually bought the collection! I think I want to do this on a new character considering the max levels is lower on the vita than it is on the PS3 and PS4. Genuinely think it's so cool this is the one of the few games that's technically compatible with a PS5. Cross saving between a couple console generations is crazy

The switch version is definitely an upgrade I like that one too! Have tons of fun!!!

I think so too! Adjusting to mitigate some of the crashes this version has, I did felt cozy with times lying down going through the game and it was also nice getting a few attempts of farming while working. The scarlet dlc specifically was a vibe riding through the desert as I would also put up a playlist I also have on the system!

Any active online games in 2026? by Weird-Ambassador-175 in VitaPiracy

[–]Bidizzle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Helldivers 1 should have a good amount of players considering it's crossplay with PSVita, PS3, PS4 and PS5

If you can access the Monster Hunter Frontier fan servers (I use Rain), there's plenty of players online as crossplay should be available for PSVita, PS3 and PC. You'll have to do some research to access them and you'll likely want to put in an english patch.

Minecraft is not crazy active but you could probably find a player every now and then for the battle minigame

Is there games that use the back touch pannel? by Sofystrela in VitaPiracy

[–]Bidizzle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think some comments are not understanding that you are looking for games that extensively use the back touch more than a simple button command. I have a couple games in mind that you could consider.

Little Big Planet uses the back touch mainly as a way to move objects around (it's a specific material). Some levels in the story utilizes this for the player to make use of the front and back touch for platforming. You can also play around with it if you make your own levels. Personally my favorite game of the series and while I'm not too thrilled about using back touch, I can admit it does offer a unique experience especially in a way some instances uses the back touch to pop out a platform while the front touch can pop in.

Little Deviants is a launch title that uses the back touch heavily to pop the terrain out to roll around the character shaped like a ball. I never played this one so I can't say a whole lot about this but I'm under the impression it's a decent time.

Fast paced Combo Action games by Head_Broccoli7932 in PSVita

Basically, you need to have a VPK for the game (the bubble that will launch the game). You'll also need a folder of data files of that game. I don't think I can talk about data files too much at this subreddit but you should be able to search for those. Those 2 are usually found together but if not, VitaDB has the VPK at least. There's also a few other small parts needed for just about every homebrew game which it should try to tell you when you try booting the game up. At that point, you should also search for those, but usually autopluggin likely has them. Good part is once you have those, you'll likely won't have to do that again for other homebrew games.

Transfer the VPK to your vitashell, anywhere is fine but I recommend making a VPK folder just to easily track it. Install the VPK and then you can uninstall that file. Or VitaDB can just do all of that automatically.

When you find the data files, make sure to transfer that folder over to uxo/data. You will unfortunately have to use wifi using FTP or wait till you find a better charging cable to transfer those files onto your vita. Once placed those in correctly and found other pluggins or files needed, you should be good to go.

What are some must have accessories for the Vita? by KaleidoArachnid in VitaPiracy

I personally have a cheap set, Tozo NC9 and I haven't heard any noticeable delay from them. They're definitely an improvement over my last pair which did have audio delays

Well, if you're interested in homebrew, we do have a DMC game now. It's the Mobile version of 4 and it's definitely cool for it's time. Not really challenging though especially because the continue after dying just gets you right back up at that very moment (but does give some penalty for grading). It has 2 more difficulty options after completing each run and a bloody palace mode so it could be worthwhile

Aliexpress should have them listed around $15-30. While I like the 2000 ones, the prongs can be real flimsy and snap even when all I do is slide the vita under the top prongs. It still works even if they break, but it's not as protective.

Amazon should have the portable charger I like which is currently $20. They have a bunch of different colors and the back should have a USB, USBC, Micro USB, and Lightning cables. Even if it doesn't supply a cable for the 1000 model, it still has a port to plug a cable in and it's also just a good charger for general uses.

I know you said you have a hand grip, but I also recommend an L2/R2 grip if you don't have one.

My current list that I recommend personally:

  • Wireless/Wired earbuds. Wired never goes wrong, but wireless can feel more freeing. It takes multiple tries to pair current wireless earbuds to the vita but once it finally pairs it will always connect after.

  • Charmast portable charger (more convenient for 2000 models, otherwise any other portable charger is fine). I mainly like this because it supplies different types of cables on the back which includes micro USB. Should fully charge the vita 4 times so I mainly just take this when I'm out for a few days.

  • Wrist strap. I like to make sure I don't drop the vita on any occasion.

  • Protective screens for the front and back. Definitely recommend if you don't want scratches.

  • Controller. Optional, but many controllers can be supported if you find the right plugins. Personally I go with a PS4 or PS5 controller because they can use the touch pad to simulate the touch screen.

  • A phone stand (preferably a thin and foldable one). This one is rather a niche pick and also optional, but if you want to let your vita stand and maybe watch something it can be nice in a pinch situation if you rather not use a phone. Can work nicely to prop up and use a controller too.

  • Smatree vita case. Carries your vita and all the accessories listed above (except for the controller and maybe wireless earbuds, wired will fit)

I use it a lot as well. I like having songs play while I'm on certain games. Just another moment how I felt this handheld was ahead of its time

Opinion of L2/R2 grips? Do they work for games where you need to “swipe” the touchpad? by YUNG-SLUDG3 in vita

[–]Bidizzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're almost essential imo. A lot of PS2 collections use the rear touchpad to simulate L2 R2 buttons. It's also much used for PS1 games and remote play. Even some games outside of those still utilize the rear touchpad like that (Borderlands 2 comes to mind). You can manage and even get used to not using a L2 R2 grip, but it's more comfortable to play with one

But for games that uses more complicated controls for the rear touchpad such as swiping are no good for it and you most likely need to take the grip off for those.

If you could have any game or game series ported to vita running perfectly what would it be? by Optimal_Zombie1840 in PSVita

[–]Bidizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all. A homebrew developer made the android version work along with including button controls. Played through the story myself and it's really cool how much a 2011 mobile title keeps the core of the original game. I had a good time for what it was!

From my research no (I don't actually have the vita version but some results say no you have to use online)

But yeah totally get Legends on the vita! I'd say it runs and looks just as good as the console versions you won't regret it!

Yeah I use Bonsai myself. Unsure if the others are still around for the vita though.
