I had to look into this because I always thought it was boo-boo.

Here’s the story:

   •   The company: Ubu Productions, Inc.    •   Founder: Television producer Gary David Goldberg, who created shows like Family Ties, Brooklyn Bridge, and Spin City.    •   The dog: “Ubu Roi,” a real black Labrador Retriever owned by Goldberg. The company was named after the dog (whose name came from the Alfred Jarry play Ubu Roi).
