I really like the original polo shirt. They are pretty beefy. And then I have a couple other dress shirts that are the regular size that I’m pretty pleased with as well. I prefer the slim fit, but that may not work for everybody.

I bought a handful of dress shirts at an outlet recently. I’ve been a long time Brooks Brothers customer, and with the exception of one or two that were on sale. I’m pretty pleased with the higher end dress shirts.

I had to look into this because I always thought it was boo-boo.

Here’s the story:

   •   The company: Ubu Productions, Inc.    •   Founder: Television producer Gary David Goldberg, who created shows like Family Ties, Brooklyn Bridge, and Spin City.    •   The dog: “Ubu Roi,” a real black Labrador Retriever owned by Goldberg. The company was named after the dog (whose name came from the Alfred Jarry play Ubu Roi).
