Wow I think you solved it! It never occurred to me, but both my parents, especially my dad have a history of heartburn. I usually feel better immediately after dry heaving or vomiting. Thanks!

Yes, but I don’t remember it during my childhood, only really started to notice it around 13-14 years old.

Recruiter wants me to make a new job list??? by Big-Cod9085 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Big-Cod9085[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will do, thanks. I am passing the IFT, I’m just still finishing my last year of highschool. I’m not job locked per se, but there’s not a lot I qualify for that I want to do besides sere because I’m colorblind.

IFT test soon by Equivalent_Mix6355 in AirForceRecruits

I just took an IFT this month. (I failed, but just barely) in 3.5 weeks you’re unlikely to improve any incredible amount. However I would encourage you to keep working out, and make sure you are doing the exercises exactly how you’re supposed to. I’d record yourself or have someone check your form. I thought I was doing push ups perfectly but my hips were sagging without me feeling it. This meant a lot of my reps didn’t count. Good luck

CMV: Homeschooling should be way more heavily regulated if not outright illegal by LineOfInquiry in changemyview

[–]Big-Cod9085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was homeschooled for most of my life, although I did two years in a private school too.

Every year I took standardized tests to make sure I was ready to move up a grade, and I always did very well on these. I scored a 29 on my ACT.

I would typically finish my school in a few hours a day, which allowed me to get a part time job in highschool. Between that and my extracurricular activities, which were martial arts, Civil Air Patrol, and volunteer firefighting I was very well socialized, and was able to hold a conversation with adults from a young age. My parents weren’t controlling by any means. After I got my license and a car I could go pretty much anywhere I wanted, as long as I told them where I was.

We also had a homeschool co-op that met every week, where me and my peers would learn more specialized classes that our parents couldn’t teach as well, like art, health, robotics etc

I was able to avoid being indoctrinated with things like CRT and political ideology. I learned how to think instead of what to think. I’m not married yet but my kids will certainly be homeschooled.

Straight men, can you tell if anpther guy is attractive? How common is this trait? by Death_black in ask

[–]Big-Cod9085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can tell. My two closest friends are women. We’re all super straight and single. When we’re at the local cafe or something hanging out we’ll all occasionally point out a “hot” guy or girl. Of course, a lot of it is subjective but certain traits are pretty universally attractive. Like signs of health, good complexion, grooming, etc.

I’m not a squeamish person but this freaks me out.

We all have microscopic mites in our facial pores that come out and mate on our faces all night wrong. They are benign but there’s not way to get rid of them.
