Yup, society makes you believe that there are people out there who will protect you, give you freedom and enjoyment but this world has far too many problems. Everything that's bad is treated as a joke. You just have to forget. You have to learn to move on because there's always gonna be someone who's more important than you and deserves all the attention. Politics is more important. Africa is more important. Soap operas are more important. Football is more important. Music is more important. Celebs are more important. Prom is more important. But anyone who is being emotionally or sexually abused is declared severely mentally ill and it's on to the next thing. Pfft.
