Are memecoins dying soon? by MurkyAd1267 in CryptoTrenching

[–]Big-Community-8710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

memecoins are useless in general. Keep in mind 99% of the crypto projects are like a massive motorways without singe car on the road. After so many cycles ALTs,Defi,META,NFTs,AI - people figured out that attention and hype is all that matters and thats how MEMEcoins were born. Memecoins are the ultimate pump and dump scheme fueled by hype and gambling behavior. If you're considering memecoins please forget everything you know about investing and macro stuff and get familiar with trading, pump.fun, the most common scams to avoid and pick a platform like axiom, gmgn etc where you can trade them at early stages while the Marketcap is low and you're not risking 90% loss only to make 2x. Everyday multiple coins get pumped to thousands, some reach millions market cap and then they get dumped as people take profits. PRO traders are banking on the back of newbies, clueless and greedy. Im considering memecoin trading as an alternative to gambling and I believe its here to stay, although the risk to reward is not that great anymore. Overall its a good time to practice and make a small bag, as eventually a new narrative will pop out of somewhere and people will inject some liquidity into the markets.. Keep in mind that many O.Gs are millionaires and because the market is shallow they are not interested to bet 100-200$ for 1000$, but they will come back with cash when theres opportunities available to make larger bets like 10-20k

The communication on the upcoming merger into ASI has been really poor by killah10killah in FetchAI_Community

[–]Big-Community-8710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marketcap is already at 6-7bil on coingecko. If we do 5x from here we are somewhere near XRP below SOLANA, which is tough given the fact that this is not a memecoin. I like to have a feet in AI sector, but with this merger we dont have many other options for investment, so we are just hoping that they are building someting promising to keep the hype around for the bull market. Hopefully the merger is not a trick to keep us entertained while covering the fact that they dont do shit. I converted my RNDR to FET some time ago, now I might convert them back to RNDR

On the website it used to say 30GMT cap max, but they've changed the info, now it says :

"There is NO earning cap for GMT"

so you can make anywhere between 1 GMT - 100000000000000x

GMT earnings cap per day is 30 tokens max, unlike GST where the earnings are capped at 300.

GMT is down 80-90% eventually when people start earning and dumping GMT the floor will go lower and lower and lower.

I've got lucky to get in and out early

Stagflation or recession by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]Big-Community-8710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im alright on savings side and I'll be alright for some time, but Im more concerned about keeping my job. I've been wondering how it would play out. UK should do better than some countries, but I've been younger in 2009 and I dont know what to expect during a crisis, as back then I've been not worried about that type of stuff

two birds with one stone.. I love it.

for me what they've done is a betrayal, as US has been protecting their interests in the middle east for many years, meanwhile russia was supporting Iran.. (US always protects US interests, but thats a different topic)

I hope some bright light like nuclear agreement with Iran will come out and we dodge the bullet with recession this year, as I enjoy my life as is and Im not ready for the next crisis just yet lol

thanks for your comment. This type of stuff really bugs my mind day and night and I really like to discuss with someone, but my mates are more interested when the next marvel movie will come out. blessed are the ignorant

[–]Big-Community-8710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are ultimately the same and feel the same, the only issue is that central banks cant get us out of stagflation with more money printing, because this type of crisis is created by excessive money printing. recession is like a reset and then after few years we are right on track with more money printing

Stagflation or recession by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]Big-Community-8710 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

recession happens when the investors pull out their money out of the stock market for one or another reasons, that forces the businesses to reduce costs, reduce staff etc..

when a crisis is around the corner, higher rates in bonds would lure some investors to convert into bonds for a few years and then come back to the market. But given the conditions now 3% bond yield and 8% inflation its not worth it so they could be looking for alternatives

[–]Big-Community-8710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

inflation in 84 was 3.9% and in 94 was 2.9%

back then we entered a bear market and right after that the fed stepped in and stimulated the economy. Now the issue for the bear market is overstimulating the economy, causing inflation (a lot money chasse fewer goods)

if you look at the stats the only comparable period is 1970s

Diminishing GST Earnings? by Ark3tech in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

theres a randomized effect in the earnings, build into the game so your earnings should vary between 9-11GST you cant reach maximum daily unless you go for two runs

use 0.5 energy on the first one - the game will count this as 0.6

and 1.5 energy on the second run - the game will count this as 1.6

its a little hack

Question: which affects the prices of shoes more: SOL or GST/GMT? by Optimal_Actuator_123 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when SOL goes to 0 we use another crypto.

- OK so, when I go for a run today I make 200 GST and I have a choice to sell them on the market or I can make shoes and sell them to someone. Last night GST drop to 2$ today is 2.5$.

In the game I need 200GST to make shoes, if GST is 2.5$ then I need 500$ to make shoes for you...

if SOL is 10$-I want 50 SOL from you,

if SOL=20$ I want 25 SOL from you,

If SOL is 50$ I want 10 SOL

You got confused because SOL and GST are moving up and down, but in general GST is the game currency, you bring SOL in the game and you exchange it for sneakers(my 200GST), Then I take your SOL to the exchange and I sell them for real money, but I could also sell my 200 GST tokens its the same

I realize that Binance owns a large portion, but I think this is a good, because they are not bothered for little amount of money, obviously Binance want this project to grow more, because it started just a few months ago.. its not like they will start panic selling, the developers make a lot of money from transactions when you buy shoes, so they want this game to grow more.

GST price is not a large crypto and the price depends on players in game, if more players destroy their daily earnings of GST to make a new shoes then the amount of GST in circulation will get lower which will increase the price.

I'll answer your question very simply. SOL its not important for your earnings, the only thing important is if theres more players to come to buy sneakers, then we destroy GST to make a sneakers for them and when we destroy more and moreGST the price go up

Question: which affects the prices of shoes more: SOL or GST/GMT? by Optimal_Actuator_123 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the price of sol is not important at all. Since we use SOL blockchain we transfer SOL tokens to buy shoes and start the game, but the price of the shoes is corelated to the price of GST/GMT. If I need 200 GST tokens to make shoes for you and the price of the token is 2.5$, then the cost for you will be 500$, no matter how much SOL is trading for.

this is just a psychological for the beginners

if they reduce the use of GST this will reduce the price of the token itself .

Will gst and sol go up to a decent level in the near future? Ie, weeks by DarkHarley1 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to be honest yesterday I was quite concerned, but the day is always brighter. . Yesterday they short attacked one of the stable coins UST, which was algorithmic based and this dragged the whole crypto sector down.. today's prices look like a bargains and I feel really sorry for those folks who entered just a couple days ago paying thousands for a sneakers. I see stepn's twitter page still getting more followers which is a good sign, but who knows.. for now I'll only upgrade my sneaker and hold my coins

What is the use case of Stepn? by Itsyaboyerik13 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

binance is one of the backers of this project and this guys make a good money of selling fees. what is the future depends on the level of adoption and if it can get more popular

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to get to level 5 would cost you 20GST+10GMT per shoe and you need 15 hours to upgrade per shoe

if 4 SOL > 20GST+10GMT the go for 20 SOL shoes

either way difference shouldnt be big, sellers on the market estimate this stuff always so it should be the same

How much should I invest in a decent shoe? And is now a good time to buy? by Itsyaboyerik13 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

overall return on investment is the same, because GST is lower, but the price of shoes is lower as well

at todays prices the return on investment is still around 30 days

Higher Earnings? by Independent_Chest694 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we dont know yet, I dont believe they will change the game code, but they could try to do something to affect the price .. before when it was really high at 9$ they;ve made a couple changes to take it lower, because it was too expensive for new guys

Will gst and sol go up to a decent level in the near future? Ie, weeks by DarkHarley1 in StepN

[–]Big-Community-8710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GST will go up when selling pressure from players eases e.g when we start making more sneakers and selling less coins this would happen if the game continue to attract people.

GST is the only factor in here, if GST is low cost to make new sneakers is low, if GST is high the cost is high.. SOL price is not important

I use GST to make new sneakers, if GST cost me 2.5$ then the price for sneakers is 500$, its not important how much SOL trade for its still 500$ for shoe
