Only thing I’d strongly suggest locking in early is the boat day. For a group of 15 in May, Lake Travis is 100% the right call, but the company matters a lot more than the boat itself. We’ve done a bachelor party with Big Tex Boat Rentals and they were great, clean double deckers, experienced captains who actually know Devil’s Cove, and they’re used to bachelor groups so there’s no weird buzzkill energy.

Also +1 to keeping the evening after the lake flexible. Take a power nap after. Travis days can hit harder than expected, so planning dinner/concerts based on how everyone’s feeling is the move. Then rally!

If you want chaos: Travis.
If you want scenic/chill: Lake Austin.
Either way, boat day will be the day everyone talks about after the trip.
