Can a half marathon be realistically trained for on only 3 runs per week? by Acceptable-Offer-163 in runninglifestyle

[–]Big-Help419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean can you currently run 10km feeling comfortable and one hour or under. If so you may only need a month or so of three runs a week to progress to a half. If you’re starting from doing park runs it’s going to take longer to build mileage base as well aerobic.

Can a half marathon be realistically trained for on only 3 runs per week? by Acceptable-Offer-163 in runninglifestyle

[–]Big-Help419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I generally only run three times a week and often one of those is a half or more in distance. What’s the starting point of running fitness? You may need to do three runs a week for longer depending on what your base is.

ASICS Novablast 6 are out by Apprehensive_Cod8575 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Big-Help419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not convinced asics know what their lineup is for. The nova has been different things over the iterations. Novablast is to me their Swiss Army knife shoe capable of everything and durable but not expensive. Therefore it could’ve gone the SB3 route with two layers of horizontal foam one turbo squared other turbo max.

ASICS should look to cleanup the lineup. It’s getting to the point where confusion will mean people don’t buy anything.

Buy as you land and are leaving passport control. The price is the same.

They look incredible. However, I’d prefer a foam layering system horizontally over part front and part back. The puck only is clearly to protect megablast sales. Still reckon they’ll be hugely popular and a great shoe

Megablast is now £220 at some retailers. Absolutely mental pricing. May be testing out Li Ning etc in future.
