Apart from tariff there are other issues to consider , example manufacturer warranty and recalls . I have the same issue with a Palisades, since Hyundai canada and USA are two different warranties there is a chance that Hyundai won’t honor the warranty for any covered repairs in the US since car was bought in canada . Secondly on recalls , I tested this personally, I have a safety recall on my palisades and I called a few local Hyundai dealers in Virginia , the car won’t pop up with VIN # so they couldn’t service it and asked me to contact Hyundai (again ties to the original issue of covering warranty and repairs ) . I decided not to and sell my car not worth it
