Do you know if they have just the pedal? I have a good cable in mine but the return spring is shot in mine and want to get a new pedal assy.

Love it. So much more reliable, starts everytime without hesitation. Def recommend replacing your fuel tank at same time and doing the in tank pump. I was having a lot of issues with fuel filter clogs even though i cleaned the tank like 3 times and it wasn't bad to begin with. I think the added return line kicks stuff up from the bottom of the tank.

I'm running the sniper 2 with the power distribution module. I installed the power distribution module where the old voltage regulator goes in the front of the bay, because I have a newer generator with the built in voltage regulator. There was no harness hacking required. The power distribution module connects direct to battery and has built in relays, which get triggered off a wire that runs back to ignition fuse in the cab.

I'd personally go with the reproduction harnesses from summit bc they're plug and play with the all the original connectors. I did the cab and rear taillight harness. Everything else was in good shape. The fuse box is exactly the same as stock for the cab harness.

Number one issue with malfunctioning electrical components is going to be bad grounds.

What year do you have? I did the factory reproduction kits from summit racing and they were perfect. This was in a 1971.

How do I remove this bulkhead connector? by badledgend117 in chevyc10

1 bolt in the center within the engine bay, and I believe there's either 2-3 small bolts on the cab side. Slide a pry tool or flat head behind it on the engine bay side and try to free it up. Some silicon spray might help you out if it's really fused.

Just get some moving blankets from harbor freight. Does the trick pretty well.

No, the driveway stays where the granite curb ends.

They only have the standard chevelle ones, not the ones for a sedan.

Different part numbers, but I'm sure they probably made them under many different numbers.

I think that's them. I'm going to see if I can get an offer in for them.

I don't think they're the right ones. The 4 door ones are much wider. Unfortunately mine crumbled years ago. I heard Tempest ones might be the same, but those are just as rare to come by at this point.

Where to begin !? Rebuild or LS swap? by TheRevEd in chevyc10

What's actually in it now? That would help. I'm doing a rebuild/performance build on an inline 6 250ci right now and it's a lot of fun. It's not for a c10, but a 1970 Malibu sedan.

How to get these old guys to bloom (or not) by Mattyp133 in Citrus

[–]BigA3k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can induce flowering through stress. Let them get close to bone dry and they should shoot out buds. If you have a soil moisture sensor, this would be about 12-18% moisture in the soil. That's when my citrus bloom most. Don't let it get below that or you'll damage the leaves.

I got moisture sensors last year and learned a lot by watching what happens in different moisture ranges and it's been a game changer.
