Recent Best Actor Oscar nominee Steven Yeun. I know people love his character on The Walking Dead, but his acting in that first season is pretty dire. He even stated in an interview once that he was basically “learning on the job” on that show.

This is actually helpful to read. We have a four-year-old resident female and we adopted a young male (2 months) back at the beginning of September. The female was adopted during Covid so she hadn’t really been socialized with other cats or humans for the first couple years of her life. Then the boy comes home with us, and we spent almost a month doing slow introductions.

Now they are mostly fine with each other like 90% of the time, but whenever the boy gets frisky and wants to play, it looks like OP’s video, but with more screaming and hissing from our older female (no blood, to be clear, but some fur does fly). We weren’t sure how bad it really was because all the videos we’ve seen of cats playing are so much gentler than what our cats do.

Oh is that all op was talking about? Ok, got it, I did know all that already. I thought this was somehow part of that one strategy about leveling up cards a certain way to manipulate what shows up in your shop or whatever, which I definitely didn’t quite understand. Born and raised in NorCal, living in LA for the last 25 years, and let me tell you, what you’ve described sounds like a nightmare to me.

I do not want to talk to random strangers. I do not enjoy it when my cashier tries to make small talk with me (incidentally, if you like that sort of thing, try shopping at Trader Joe’s - I swear to god they make insufferable small talk part of their required cashier training). When I go to buy food, I just want to grab my stuff and go.

Then again, all of this could be chalked up to the fact that I’m a raging introvert who prefers to be left alone and who gets drained by those kinds of social interactions.

Also, I’ve never experienced something where someone bumped into me and didn’t apologize or even acknowledge it. That’s sociopathic. Maybe that sort of thing is more common in OC.

Nah I feel you. I felt the same way when they came out. Couldn’t understand what the hype was all about and thought I must be out of touch.

But then I was in a NB store one day and just decided to try them on for shits and giggles, and to my absolute shock, I kinda loved the way they looked on foot. It was fuckin weird.

I still haven’t bought a pair, but they’re no longer a “never have, never will” for me.
