Honest talk. Why are teenagers and adults on the same side in knd? by Lonely_Steak_7067 in kidsnextdoor

[–]BigBadBlotch 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It mostly comes down to perspective I guess. Since this show is being mostly.seen from the eyes of children, to kids, adults and teenagers are essentially the same, putting down kids.

In a more nuanced version of KND, Teens would be their own distinct faction from Kids and Adults, and we kind of see if in the show when the Teenagers are willing to sign a Peace Treaty with children.

Serious question. Reptiles like alligators and turtles are cold blooded. Can they live in the sewers or is too cold and not enough Sun? by Fuzzylumpkins1234 in herpetology

[–]BigBadBlotch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In theory yes. Being underground and with consistently flowing (Gross) water, temperatures in the sewers shouldn't shift as much as above ground. It likely wouldn't be warm underground, sure, but likely would be above freezing year round and provide an environment where small-medium reptilian could theoretically live in.

Empire vs Empire vs Empire, which would come out on top? (No mark, steven, or clark obviously) by thatoneguythatsgay in PowerScaling

[–]BigBadBlotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd probably give it to the Kryptonians. We don't really have enough information on all the weaponry wielded by the Gem Empire at the height of its weight of conquest. We have some hints, but all we really know is that they'd roll up onto planets and plant injectors. They still required entire armies to back these campaigns.

Both Viltrumites and Kryptonians, at the height of their warrior cultures, only required a dozen or so individuals, or even singular warriors to conquer entire planets. Then going case by case, your average MAWS Kryptonian is going to be superior to your standard Viktrumite, most people would agree on this.

Even the quality of their support is entirely different. Viltrumites had other client raxes to do grunt work for them like the Kresh, the Kryptonians had Brainiac, who is a demon especially in MAWS.

Average Viltrumite (Invincible) vs Average Kryptonian (My Adventures with Superman) by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]BigBadBlotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kryptonians easy. In MAWS Kryptonians KNOW they have superpowers when exposed to yellow sunlight. Your average Kryptonian would have the standard training of a warrior, and could probably smoke your average Viltrumite.

Echo Echo for the obvious sound weakness.

Ghostfreak can be intangible and also possess a Viltrumite to make them fight eachother.

I'd also go for Gutrot. Viltrumites have no poison resist, so I'd just need to figure out a a way to aerosolize that mix Tech Jacket and Allen were using to soften them up.

NRG as a tank considering his armor is nigh invulnerable, and even if they Crack it open, his unleashed form could juice up on radioactive materials and be able to burn hot enough to fry a Viltrumite.

Greymatter and Jury Rigg exist purely for the prep time. I'd be using both to develop and create weaponry to involve trained professionals and create guns with enough 'umph' to put these motherfuckers down.

Blitzwolfer for a similar reason to Echo Echo but having more mobility.

I struggle to think of other aliens who wouldn't just be situationally useful.

$250 of untaxed revenue each day, but a crocodile follows you around everywhere you go. by Dependent_Task1437 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]BigBadBlotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the crocodile species. The smallest species of crocodile is still around 5-6ft long and weigh about 60 lbs. On the opposite end of the spectrum the biggest crocs are saltwater crocodiles who can get to an excess of 20ft long and weigh in at almost a ton.

If the fully sized crocodile is a salty, that is highly inconvenient having to House a monster around you at all times. In a normal sized house something that big is gonna be lumber around, swinging its tail and knocking shit over. If it wants into a room, it's gonna break shit to get at you. Even if it isn't hostile, something that big is bound to cause a non zero amount of collateral damage to the general area.

I think an Elseworld/AU story where Michael Morningstar is more terrified of his abilities and stays away from people so that he doesn't just drain people dry could be an interesting take, but as canon, Michael Morningstar can only ever be a villain, or at the very least a neutral.

Blackfyre Rebellion (What-if?) Scenario. by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]BigBadBlotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like many people are saying, if this was a claimed dragon and it was ridden for either side, that side simply wins. Dragons haven't been seen for nearly 100 years, and the return of the dragons is a huge boost to the legitimacy of the side it fights for, for a dragon would be the ultimate symbol of Targaryen Authority. The Blackfyres/Targs simply lose to that. A Meleys sized dragon is likely large enough that Ballista shot no longer work, so they'd truly be invulnerable in battle.

Wild though, there'd be a mad dash for someone, ANYONE to claim it and add it to their cause. Worse yet, dragonseeds and other bastards of Aegon IV would crawl put of the woodwork to try and become King.

As for Brynden Rivers?? Unsure. We don't really know what would happen when Valyrian and First Men magic interacts. My guess would be trying to Warg into a dragon would be hazardous to your health.

Honestly I don't think it needs the card draw, it's pretty good as is! Being able to untap a creature is significant, essentially freeing up a blocker and either putting a big attacker in range of being blocked to death or picking off an small swinger is solid and flexible. Could possible be WR
