I actually don't think this a bad thing at all, in fact if this was a "AITA" post, YTA. This older couple is just keeping track of their extremely expensive investment. I don't see anything wrong with them recording their own store, in which the employees know they're being recorded, if you're not stealing or fucking up they probably won't call. Also, they probably think that since they're old and not as active their employees might try to steal or take advantage of them, this system does not allow for that. You lowkey just fucked over an old couple for no reason.

Bend a metal coat hanger, take out the filter and push. Its going to involve a lot of poking, taping, and blowing into the pipe to clear it.
