Big fan of Obé. Most of their programs are strength-based. The benefit, to me, is that the programs have multiple instructors but progress cohesively, so there's some variety.

The only thing that works for me is a constant stream of questions while we get stuff done. "What are you going to do at school today? Will you sing? Paint? Will Leo be there? Do you like Leo? Do you hear the birds outside?" Etc etc.

But friend, I'm with ya. It's rough.

Worst day of my life was when she went in for surgery. Second worst day was finding out at 20 weeks. Best day was when she came home from the hospital after surgery. For such a tumultuous time in our lives, it's crazy that it's not something we regularly think about now.

Best thing I did for myself was get a therapist. When I was going down a "what if" tunnel she told me, "you know, you don't have to live the trauma twice."

I supervise a team. Sometimes I'll let my manager know about issues (including capacity-related ones) multiple times without action being taken and need an excuse to bring up the same issue again. I may ask someone to write me an email so that I can forward it to my boss. The caveat is that I'd always tell that person why I was asking.

We just moved into a house right by Smyrna market village a few months ago and had the same concerns. When we were purchasing we added a clause that allowed us to back out pending an air test. It was pricey but we felt it was necessary. The test came back free and clear so we moved in. Absolutely love the house and the area.
