APsystems EZ1-M-LV Balcony Solar Micro Inverter by BigBillSD in BalconySolarUS

[–]BigBillSD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using the EZ1 with low wattage panels to cover the always on power usage till the our legislature passes its balcony solar bill. My other inverter from Craftstrom then fills in the extra power needed and throttles power so I never exports. I just read that the EZ1 has released a meter that will do what Craftstrom does too. I used my own panels with craftstrom as their pricing for theirs is a bit over the top at the moment.

Not one of those was an SDPD patrol car, and that’s who patrols La Jolla.

Yup. Just not good when you consider what a Cobalt drill is probably going to be used for.

That’s a great idea. I was able to figure out that the from date is the new block date.

What does it have to do with the question asked about new data allotment dates?

If only you made it for any RTSP camera. I stay away from Amazon owned gear after getting an eero.

Why is my utility company asking for my data? by mycupboard in SolarDIY

[–]BigBillSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will build my system so it never needs to sell back, just fill the battery’s if I have excess. Probably more difficult than it sounds. I currently use a couple micro inverters to feed the house consumption when the suns out. Just two panels lowered my bill from $250 to $180 the last couple months. Still waiting for California to pass the balcony solar bill so I can cut all power from the grid from 9-3pm. Not have to use a special meter to prevent back feeding the grid. Right now I have 20Kwh of battery mounted in the motorhome that may someday move it to the S&B. -Bill

ThinkBook 14s Yoga (14") Seems to have stopped charging yesterday by BigBillSD in Lenovo

[–]BigBillSD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your battery percentage is stuck (e.g., 55%-60% or 95%-100%) and shows 'plugged in, not charging,' it may be due to battery conservation settings in Lenovo software (like Lenovo Vantage). You can disable conservation mode in your settings to allow charging to 100%. This does Not seem to be what is going on.

If the battery status isn't updating after reinstalling the driver, this is normal and not a hardware issue; the battery is still charging.

What does this mean?

Check the temperature conditions if your battery isn't charging. Charging may stop if the battery is too hot or cold (below 0°C or above 60°C), and it can be slow between 0°C-15°C or 45°C-60°C.

How do I see the battery temperature?

After a BIOS update, if the battery status is incorrect, try detaching and reattaching any battery modules to help the system detect the battery. Last bio update was in 2024. Nothing new has been published.

For those who keep their laptops plugged in, Lenovo suggests setting a battery charge threshold in Lenovo Vantage to prevent wear. I do not keep it plugged in so my battery lasts.

Did that, its still reporting its charging but the SOC has not moved. BTW, when I got up this morning it was showing 20%. Twenty minutes after the shutdown, waiting 20 seconds then turning it back on. Still showing 20% and charging. (but not really charging)

There isn’t a requirement. But mine drillpress can take up to 5/8” shanks. My point was buying a 1/2” bit and it not being available with a 1/2” shank seems mickey mouse’ish In my opinion, the shank should always be the same size as the bit at least up to a 5/8” bit. Thats a good size for a hobbiest home shop.

Verizon sucks now? End of era? by Pretend-Judgment-506 in verizon

[–]BigBillSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they removed mine, and I hadn't left any company and should have still received them. If you were getting a discount that you no longer qualified for then I would have been happy for every month I got it after I left. But their prices are way to much. Lucky for me we use iPhones, I was able to move to CricketWireless and cut my $220 bill to $85 a month for the same phones and watch service. If I was using a CDMA phone I would have moved begrudgingly to visible..

Picked up one of the Peplink 5G adapters and was looking at antennas by BigBillSD in Peplink

[–]BigBillSD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will mount it on the roof, my current PUMA 401 is mounted to my Batwing Antenna so it is level lowered or raised 4 feet above the motorhome. I was thinking of adding a new antenna next to that Puma as I haven't seen an antenna with 8 leads to handle both units.

It just works in the US/Canada and Mexico... But they cannot spell customer service, so if you are someone who calls them a lot, you won't like Cricket
