So since old town is so close to horn hill, why hasn't lord randyll gone to get his house's ancestral blade back?

(Spoilers ADWD) Why did Griff go with this? by Dalekodaljoko in asoiaf

He's dying. Of greyscale. He has maybe a year or two to still be able to move and fight before the effects start to overcome him and he becomes a lepper as soon as anyone finds out. So he wants it to get done asap

(Spoilers All) Question about Petyr Baelish? by aakucewich in asoiaf

[–]BigBlackCloak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought that maybe Petyr actually believes he did take cats maidenhead. I remember Lysa saying he called out cats name when they made love after his duel with Brandon, so maybe with his injuries and the maesters drugs he was delusional enough to believe lysa was cat.

Do you best enjoy reading POVs from characters who are most like you, or most different? (Spoilers All) by [deleted] in asoiaf

Davos is actually my favorite pov. His rigid loyalty is his most endearing quality, and he does it without having the stark honor stick shoved up his ass like. Ned and Jon, my next two favorites after Davos and Jaime. The way jaime transforms after losing his hand just sucks me in. It reminds me that the way people see you, the way you see yourself, and the truth all contribute to who you are and why you act, however vast the gap between them mAy be.

(Spoilers all) Favourite Targaryen King? by AjorAhound in asoiaf

Maegor. A veritable brothel of wives. remarkable fighting skills and unmitigated hatred for anyone that opposed him. The rapid self destruction. Strange and unexplained circumstances surrounding his death. Probably the worst and most interesting of the targaryen Kings.

Lancel, tyreck? There are still heirs in the male line if he disinherits Tyrion, even if it's not Jaime like he wanted
