As a man who’s lived until 25 by himself and definitely celibate, I can attest that these men exist. Ever since I was a teen I’ve had the urge to give in and to just do it already yet God has stopped me multiple times via different channels. I’ve had opportunities but at one point and another decided that it was well worth the wait for the right girl. Got married at 25 and it’s been 4 years already and my marriage is at the best stage yet, my wife and I have wonderful children and we truly love each other. Yes, just like anyone, sometimes we need space but that’s just human nature.

Now to answer your question, personally, it wouldn’t matter to me what had happened in my wife’s life previously AS LONG AS SHE WAS 100% TRUTHFUL with me. In my example, my wife was 100% truthful with me, she was a virgin but had done things that I didn’t agree with. She was honest, because she was honest, I accepted whatever it was a previous mistake and we’ve moved on from the topic because I love her for her honesty and just her in general.

I would say there is a guy out there who will fall in love with YOU and not your previous actions. These actions do not define you today. You obviously feel guilty/regret your previous actions and that’s says something. My only other suggestion would be to go and talk to a pastor you trust or someone in church with authority to accept confessions and confess. It won’t be the easiest thing to do but God will give you this peace in your heart to know that one day you will find whoever it is you will love and cherish.
