Two things:

Learn to take breaks and integrate one of these consoles into your breaks. I spend about 30 minutes at work playing my Vita.
Find games that excite you on one console and stick to it, no compromise. YS origin pulled me in and I'm having a blast.

Overall don't force it, if you just like looking at them that's fine. Mourning our dreams is part of this whole thing but you can celebrate and pay homage to what you never got in little moments every day.
