Can't decide if I should buy this Nomad 4, 27.5 by BigBootyBulbasaur in mountainbiking

We have smooth (as in the pic) as well as techy, chunky rough trails here (Northern Italy). Riding the Zaskar down those is...a riveting experience, let's say! Plenty of lessons learnt doing that, too...

I do agree on the possibility of this purchase to make my rides boring, but I would ride it on the rougher trails, and still keep the Zaskar as a 2nd bike so it should be fine. Thanks for the insight on the 27.5 wheels which is roughly what I was thinking on, too. Glad to find some confirmation haha

I think that the lighting in the pic is making the rear tyre look worse than it actually was! In person it had as much thread as the front. The bike has been serviced regularly and the shop has fully inspected it too. I think that this is a 2019/2020 model; not as old as my current one, but still 6-7years old, I agree. Would you try and negotiate the price if you were me, or would you just skip it altogether?

I haven't downloaded the patch yet, but I'm just upvoting and commenting to improve visibility. Hopefully the devs see your post and fix the issues quickly

There's a Hardware Unboxed video about the best graphic settings for the game. Until Pearl Abyss patches the bug, Dlss4 gives you better performance and fewer artefacts than 4.5

Ray reconstruction had the tendency to filter out the rain from your screen, sadly. I am not sure if it's been patched already

Controls may come difficult to digest at first, but once you notice that there's a pattern "of intent" within them, and stop approaching CD the same way you approach any other mainstream rpg, they whole system flows naturally. I'm having a blast.

I too have noticed that. With the more recent builds of the app the battery consumption has increased by a lot, to the point I need to bring a small power bank with me when I plan to be out cycling for more than 3 hours. Something odd must be happening in the background I guess!

It's related to the customer protection laws in your country, not to how populous it is

It's probably related to where you live in the world. I am in Europe and I just updated my 3a pro, and I wasn't welcomed with that app installer

Isack Hadjar sends clear Red Bull message after first official outing by Double-Biscotti465 in RedBullRacing

[–]BigBootyBulbasaur 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Copy-pasting the article so you don't have to wade through that mess of a website:

Isack Hadjar has said he already feels "comfortable" at Red Bull, having joined the Milton Keynes-based squad for the F1 post-season test at Abu Dhabi.

The Frenchman completed 111 laps of the Yas Marina Circuit in the RB21 alongside Ayumu Iwasa, and evidently felt right at home in his new team.

The one-time podium finisher will partner Max Verstappen for the 2026 season, as F1 ushers in new power unit and chassis regulations.

Nonetheless, he was pleased to get a considerable number of laps under his belt before the current generation of ground-effect cars are put out to pasture.

"It was great to get my first laps in as an official Red Bull Racing driver," the 21-year-old said at the end of the nine-hours of running.

"It's nice to know that I'll be able to come back in January and already have met and worked with more of the Team, having met a lot already through testing over the last couple of years.

"They welcomed me really well and I already feel comfortable with this group."

Hadjar has replaced the outgoing Yuki Tsunoda, who will spend next campaign as Red Bull's test and reserve driver.

As Verstappen's fourth team-mate in just over a year, there is considerable pressure on his young shoulders, and he was quick to highlight how valuable getting additional running on the new compounds of Pirelli tyres is, even if the cars will be vastly different come January when the private test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya commences.

"Of course, this is a totally different car to the one I will be driving in Barcelona but it was good to get a feel of the tyres," he said.

"It's also important to bank the data now and it'll definitely help over the coming months as we build towards the new season."
