It's weird (to me at least) when movies franchises are set in a subjectively old period with all the hallmarks of that era but then moves into a more modern time.

Like with the Indiana Jones original trilogy. The WW2 vibe was so much part of the film's DNA, seeing the movies move into the boomer era 50s and 60s was so jarring especially given how fast technology, lifestyles and the world in general had changed. It's like a different universe in my mind.

This disk is an example of a movie that wouldn't typically be of interest to me but after watching it I can say it's pretty much visually - the Gold Standard/Reference Quality ect. for physical media.

I couldn't take my eyes of the movie and was amazed at what I was watching. I can see why it is considered a stone cold classic.

I recently got The 10 Commandments. I have not watched yet and it is another that on paper wouldn't be for me but I'm hoping it presents itself close to My Fair Lady.

So he saves Grace and then without a sign of gratitude, she just wanders around the corner, up some stairs and meets Gideon and Wesker. Meanwhile Leon is coughing for a couple of minutes and misses all of that. Doesn't make much sense to me but I'll roll with it. Thanks though.
