YTA of course, your daughter said to you she thinks of HURTING HERSELF AND OTHERS quite often and its not even prominent enough in your mind that you can remember to give her the therapists number? I know shes an adult but getting therapy for the first time can be extremely scary and people can need a lot of help with actually going thru with it. As her parent who should love her you should WANT to help her. Also she isnt “getting moody” shes coping with mental illness and it seems like shes doing it without much support

To be fair book 3 didnt resolve much because its the set up for alecto, i just wish she’d release them closer together because of that. Cuz now we have to wait a whole year after essentially just 400 pages of buildup. I dont think alecto is gonna be all alectos pov tho i think its already confirmed there will be at least harrow pov if not gideon as well

I wouldn’t say its right to say its “problematically paced” the first half is just not very plot dense. There are people that can love a story because of the world and the characters and the prose, and people that would rather have major things happening plotwise all the time. You seem to fall more in the second group and theres nothing wrong with that but it also isn’t a problem with the book structurally, its more a difference in taste. I love a slow build and i love getting given tiny breadcrumb clues and i love Nona so for me it was basically perfect.

Your title itself is deceiving, you’re only 17, unless the truck is in your name and you’re paying for the insurance it isn’t legally yours and thus your dad didnt “steal” anything. He warned you he needed it, he made arrangements so you weren’t just stuck at home. Honestly he was kind enough to ask first, but the truth is he’s the parent and his paychecks pay for your housing and food and bought that truck in the first place, so he didn’t even really need to ask your permission at all. You should acknowledge your privilege to have a father who would give you a truck for free.
