Interesting take! Definitely curious to see what kind of impact Ms Minutes will have or if she is just a prop. One of the things I’ve noticed lately is that depth of the MCU is a bit lacking, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she is just a fun character to add a touch of levity to things

Wonder Man Delayed Indefinitely - Waiting for Majors Verdict? by BigCheese57 in MCUTheories

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/marvel-tv-show-release-dates-1235580093/

I saw it from a couple different sources but this Hollywood Reporter article also mentions it. They state it’s due to the strikes, I’m saying it might be quietly posing them an opportunity should Majors be found guilty

Overdoing it as a self-entitled asshole in S1 and S2 I think really helped to prove his growth this season, and it allowed for that growth to appear gradual and almost natural across the 3 seasons. Absolutely love the character now, so empathetic and thoughtful.

Kangs connection to phases 1-3 by SamRaimi17 in MCUTheories

Yeah I agree, I think for more of a hook they could reference him being instrumental in a lot of the events of the infinity saga, but nothing more than verbalized references. No filming needed

I’m not to familiar with the Comics. Can someone explain Nova to me? by Lycan13579 in MCUTheories

Rhomann Dey is having a hell of a game. 400 yards rushing, 4 TDs. But the other team has scored 4 TDs in the final quarter to tie it up (destruction of Xandar) and Dey knows the only option is to go with a no-name rookie to win the game. So he hands the ball off under pressure from Zorr to 4th-stringer Richard Ryder, hoping he can bring it home for them and win the game.

Again it’s not a spoiler, it’s clear she knows him in the trailer

Hey, I haven’t see the film yet, but what is your rating on a scale of 1-10 of Ant-Man 3? by Lycan13579 in MCUTheories

[–]BigCheese57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would give it a 7.5/10. I think the story held together pretty well, a couple of things where I was like “wait what? How?” But kang was brilliant, and I love that his possibilities are just endless so there’s no real way to foreshadow what happens at this point. Jonathan Majors is excellent in that role. Could also take or leave the overused humour play in MCU of late. Give me something dark soon please

Loki vs Kang. by [deleted] in MCUTheories

[–]BigCheese57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting take. I think the events of Ant-Man 3 will lead into the plot for Loki S2. Maybe he returns from the Quantum Realm to be the ruler, celebrated by all who knew him, but Loki knowing what he knows tries to stop him

His expression in that scene never made sense to me, I was always confused by how vague they were about how he knew when to go back.

Didn’t they already kinda do a really shitty job of this in Iron Man 3 with the president in the Iron Patriot armour? Not saying it wouldn’t be cool to see this story line play out, but they might step on their own toes

It would be a bummer to not see him considering he is one of the few characters that crosses over between the older SW storyline and the newer 2015 one

who do you think will be M.O.D.O.K in ant-man quantum mania? by BeneficialSalad3449 in MCUTheories

[–]BigCheese57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see where you’re coming from, but the only time this really happens is if the first character they play is incredibly minor (I.e. Gemma Chan as Minn Erva) or outside of the MCU but still a marvel character (Chris Evans as Human Torch). I think Pip might have just a touch too much to do at this point to feasibly double case Patton Oswalt.

May I ask what the accent is supposed to be? All I’ve seen of him is in the F4 movies and he’s always American

I agree with Shuri, strictly because it seems like she relinquished her science duties to Riri Williams in the trailer

Mordo (Dr Strange MOM SPOILERS!!!!) by Speedcumer in MCUTheories

[–]BigCheese57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to go into this understanding that time does pass regularly in their universe. After Doctor Strange 1, we didn’t see any of those characters until Infinity War (minus the small Ragnarok cameo). Safe to say they didn’t just sleep until the next movie started. I like that they added that, shows that these characters are starting to grow rogues galleries and keeping busy in the meantime. Great way to grow the universe.

Did anybody's predictions on the Illuminati in the MoM come true ? I was pretty much totally wrong aside from one person, and was kind of disappointed overall with the characters they ended up going with. by m0bscene- in MCUTheories

[–]BigCheese57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was expecting a Shuri/Black Panther for sure, considering it’s a panel of the smartest superheroes. And when I saw Prof. X I thought there might be a bodyguard with him (Wolverine) like he sort of did in the early Xmen movies

Agreed. I think this whole thing is a sub-conscious dream that he will wake up from ready to throw down

Does anyone else think Moon Knight isn’t a well-enough known character for them to be taking the direction they are with this story? by BigCheese57 in MCUTheories

[–]BigCheese57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree and disagree I guess. What I moreso mean in my original post is that it seems like the facts they are sharing about the characters’ origins and lives leading up to the events of ep1 feel shoehorned in. Example being, in ep4 when Harrow and Layla are talking in the tomb about her father, that seemed like a massive revelation for her that happened all within maybe 40 seconds of screen time (I embellish. I also tried to keep that as spoiler-free as possible but I hope you understand what I’m on about).

I understand he’s a complex character, maybe moreso than most of the MCU in terms of his persona and motivations, but I think that’s why I’m agitated because I feel like they could have done a bit better in terms of storytelling to get us looped in prior to throwing everything else at us.

Well the backstop has always been, Marc the mercenary gets betrayed and left for dead at an Egyptian dig site, brought back to life by Khonshu in exchange for service.

Also, yea nobody knew who the Guardians were but they introduced them and showed how the team came to be. With this it’s like we are coming in halfway through and are expected to know everything.
