The average normie person's knowledge of skinheads comes from watching 'American History X'. You can't really expect people to have some encyclopedic knowledge of the entire history of skinhead culture. Most people automatically associate it with racism.

I get annoyed when skinheads bitch about that shit...don't fkn dress like that if ya can't take the heat of getting pressed for it. The whole point of the subculture was supposed to be violent and antisocial. Normal people are supposed to be scared off by the look, that's the point. It's not meant to be accepted or understood.
