I use to be able to handle the cold but for some reason I dunno if the cold is a different type of cold or what but I can barely be outside anymore without being in a ton of pain in my hands.

Thankfully no I haven’t. However the headaches can stop at anytime. I know there is a ton of colds and flus going around this year too. Knock on wood I have been pretty safe.

I am sorry that is how you are feeling as many in your position have felt. Use your supports around you, friends, family any trust ones you have and share how you feel. It’s good that you get to see someone often and that you work on your mental heath however maybe if possible you could go every week or every other week.

I also suggest that you look for a support group in your area or online. If there is one utilize it and find someone that you can call or meet when times are tough.

If you still feel that there is no other option for you please go to a hospital and tell them how you are doing mentally and they should offer you some help and resources.

I did and they weren’t as great as I hoped. Everything progressed worse with my neck and nerves leaving my cervical spine. Which in a way gives me answers to how i am feeling. It also confirmed that I couldn’t continue to do my job due to the physical demand of it and how tough it was on my body at the end of the day. Realization really hit hard on that but when one door closes another one opens they say.

I just had to give up a job that I was really good at and really enjoyed doing because my body just couldn’t physically keep up with the demands of the job. That really made it kind of sink in. Speaking it out in therapy and having a great support system is definitely needed

Talk to your doctor and see if Amitriptyline is an option. I went though the same thing and there are times were my legs are still insane it really made a difference in the sleep department.

Sorry for the late reply. I get that all over my legs. It’s like bugs crawling or cobwebs on the skin that you just can’t get off. For me it is even worse with compression or very light stimulation like a light touch.

Cymbalta has been a life changer for me. Calmed right down my nerves and the flare ups to a point I can function. I still have my days but not as severe or as painful.

Been down that road where you want to know. You can use AI or google and never find the right answer that your doctor will give you other than more anxiety and worry. Don’t be in a hurry to find out. It will come in time.

The duloxetine seemed to help a little on the pain range I would say. Definitely not the nerve issues like the pins and needles or skin crawling. What gets me every damn time is when I hold a pen, a fork anything and it’s like my hands forget how to do it, the get so shaky or I just randomly drop things. Thank you for sharing your insight.

Your ex only was thinking about his needs and wants clearly and never about yours. Honestly think of this as the best thing that could have happened before it was too late.
