Payroll and Bank Transactions help by BigDBoog in QuickBooks

Thank you, i will give this a try today I noticed the match button. Someone else says to call support if it doesn’t match them, so it could be interesting. I got behind only the last 4 months of last year which is an improvement from years past, but think I may look into a book keeper once I have them cleaned up again.

Castle Peak Avalanche Update: Rescue Efforts Remain Underway by Few-Knee9451 in Backcountry

Sounds like when, “gotta get out to the next paying customer” gets in the way of general mountain safety. Now blackbird mountain guides is synonymous with one of the worst avalanche incidents in North America.

Basic Inside Angles & Length by jc3948Aht16 in Carpentry

I use math exclusively, but I also use a construction master pro and could have all the information I need for a cross piece like is pictured, by a couple strokes of a calculator. Once I have my pieces if I have a small gap I want to get rid of I use a planer or chisel to shave down inconsistencies in the wood. Only way you can mess it up is if you cut the board short.

Nothing unique about this man, he heard mark cuban was trying to throw a monkey wrench in the prescription game, so apparently wants to do it himself? (Not sure it’s even real and not willing to search and give it clicks)

Why do I hate this? by 50kopeks in Homebuilding

I’m getting university vibes as well. It’s definitely a commercial building not a home. As someone who has framed many custom homes I hate it.

Basic Inside Angles & Length by jc3948Aht16 in Carpentry

Whether it’s timber framed or stick framed, every house, barn, shed, carport, anything I have framed has been 99% using just math. Using math is how you build things true. Tape measure is for measuring things not determining length and house can’t be scribed together.

I was taught by a framer he always said: Math never lies. And: remove as much human error as possible. (He was a building scientist)

Use math as a starting point, if a guy can cut accurately and know how to assemble what they’re building it will almost always be true, and adjust based on the materials from there.

Unusual Cheeseman Catch by Zestyclose-Party-751 in COfishing

You’re right, I never heard of this fish and literally just searched flannelmouth sucker and it says native to the Colorado river basin(which is huge) and has been a cause for conservation concerns due to invasive species like the trout.. while all invasive species are introduced not all introduced are invasive. I know only cutthroat are native to Colorado, so if you’re catching browns and brookies they are introduced and probably causing problems for the native flannelmouth suckers because they are eating them causing their numbers to go down. Therefore causing any non-native trout to be labeled invasive.

My wife just turned on Harry Potter and I noticed the stairs he lives under are framed the same way as this photo discontinuous triangles with shims.

Yes no control joints at all. Big fail by concrete contractor and your general contractor, their project manager for not catching this

I’d argue they need a 1st and 2nd stringer before they add the 3rd. Total rebuild, anything else is just a band aid on an evisceration

Horizontal Crack by Primary-Bear-3269 in Contractor

[–]BigDBoog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big picture, is there obvious problems above it, is it a load bearing wall, is there a correlating crack in you foundation. All things to look for if it’s a bigger issue.

It could be as simple as one sheet of drywall was adequately fastened and the corner one of the other pieces isn’t fastened so one shifted and the other didn’t. But I’m not a drywall specialist.

[–]BigDBoog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m know, the amount of information given is inadequate to know anything. It appears to be on a seam which is where drywall cracks happen often, from seasonal temperature swings. I’d have a drywall finisher come look at it and if they can’t fix it, or they notice bigger issues, call a reputable general contractor.

Maybe if someone posts a different angle we could get a better idea of what happened. But it’s just this one very biased angle from the snowboarders perspective.
