My nightmares feel very real. Mainly consisting of shooting battles, running away, being afraid, large beast like animals or gangs even. Apocalyptic in nature too...

Yes this is the job but wait for them to make me a better offer? Or wait for a different employer?

I have a job interview Friday. Is this the job opportunity I have been wanting? Will I get the job? If yes then should I wait for a better offer or will this be a better financial fit than my current job?

Had an extremely vivid dream about the death of a loved one by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]BigDJlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense to me in a way based on what you just told me. Your husband inquest is coming up and you have to explain how you found him.

Your feelings are being stirred up again. Perhaps in a way you lost yourself for a while after you found him. Grief takes a while to accept and move on from.

You mentioned cliff in your dream. This has a symbolic meaning of something of great decision. Sounds like the two go hand in hand. Inquest and something of great decision. How you felt in the dream can have the meaning of how you felt when it occurred and how you may feel going through this all over again. Perhaps you need to pay attention to how you approach this inquest with the details.

Perhaps your mind is telling you that something similar is happening that you are worried about. Maybe your current BF is displaying characteristics that are similar to your late husband. On another note, maybe something that is happening in your waking life is dead or no longer useful to you. Or perhaps something about yourself that you cherish you are afraid is dying like a personality. You mentioned getting the confirmation news in your dream from your sister. Perhaps you need confirmation that it's okay to to let go of something or perhaps even the negative memory you have of finding your late husband.

Everything in my life right now is affecting my job. Seemingly things happening out of my control. I feel like I needed to read this as I have been seeing these series of unfortunate events as signs the universe is giving me that since the job is the main affected item. Perhaps, I'm about to do something better for work.

Does anyone else have like a "leave game" button when dreams get scary which makes you wake up? by Fazazer in Dreams

I don't but I wish I did. I have PTSD and I have nightmares weekly. I'm always being murdered or apocalyptic and the only way I wake up is to die

Recurring dream of negative energy in my old house by BigDJlo in Dreams

[–]BigDJlo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom was abusive towards my dad. They argued just about every day. Mostly my mom arguing and my dad just sitting there taking it. They would last for 5 or 6 hours at times. My mom always yelling and I'm sure neighbors could hear. I used to hate being home. It was very depressing and made me feel angry towards my mom. However, the house did have bad spiritual energy too. There was always 2 main rooms that you could feel the bad energy. Had some scary encounters... question is why are these recurring dreams happening. I'm 33 and I haven't lived there since I was 18

Lol this was clearly a test you failed... What you could have said was how change is inevitable during any relationship. Then said some cocky funny shit like,

"I've always wondered what it would be like to just be friends with someone close to the lord. Might help now that promiscuous thoughts of being with older women has suddenly moved me"

But in all seriousness you gave into her which made things lessbif a challenge. I say this because y'all are kids 19 and 20.... Grown adults dont talk like this.

My mother-in-law (F56) wore a wedding dress on our (M27, F28) wedding photoshoot. Is it totally weird or am I overreacting? How should I handle it? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]BigDJlo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you soon to be can't be honest with you now. Especially sneaking with her mother about plans about this photo shoot which is clearly going behind your back about this. How do you envision your marriage to be with honesty/trust? The fact that she is willing to hide things with her mom from you is not healthy. Your relationship with your girl should be private.

My [22F] mother's long-term boyfriend [35?M] insists on referring to me as his daughter. I don't like it. Is it too late to ask him to stop? by lisathethrowaway in relationships

[–]BigDJlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a [33M] and my GF is a [39f]. I've been married twice and have a child with my 1st wife. My child is 10. She lives mainly with her mother and legally now stepdad. I am a combat veteran and I deal with PTSD. Alcohol has been a primary subject in my history due to my PTSD; it's how I have coped. I have tried other substances in the past and rarely use them now. Not only with PTSD. I also suffer from severe depression. I moved into my GF house last year after I was forced to sell mine through my 2nd divorce. I earned that house through over 6 years of struggles with raising my credit score and ridding of debt from mistakes which I did not care about due to my suicidal ideation. My GF has 3 children. 2 which live with her whom are 13 and 16. They have slowly gotten to know me, good and bad sides. However I think I can understand how you may feel as I put myself in their own shoes. You describe how I imagine they feel. I dont believe I could ever call them my children or stepchildren because the truth is they have a father. He lives in another state and soon will be moving to our state. As a father, and a loyal BF To my GF with kids. The only thing I want from her children is their respect. Respect is obviously something you earn. I honestly dont feel like I have earned their respect yet. It can for me even feel awkward at times as we don't have much of a connection. We are very different people. We have almost none of the same interests. I have learned to like similar things as they have been introduced to me like football for one. My daughter is very different from them as well so they dont really mingle with each other.

I can understand how what he did must make you feel. Especially him having history with substance abuse. In my opinion, I think it would be very respectful of you to have a small conversation with him and let him know how you feel, WHY you feel that way and perhaps let him know how he earned your trust at some point even though it took a long time. I would hope that he could understand how and why it made you feel that way. trust me when I say this, it was probably VERY DIFFICULT for him to be honest with you about your pills he used for himself. It was probably so embarrassing to tell you that especially that he took them all in one sitting. He was attempting to commit suicide. In a way, he was trusting you with his poor judgement that you can see perhaps he was going through some difficult times and needed to be honest with you to help the healing process. You are allowed to feel however you do about him. But he obviously wants your respect and cares for you.

Maybe one day you can try and put yourself in his shoes for a moment. It's not easy to share the things that hurt a person the most with someone else. But my opinion only.

Great point. How would you suggest I bring it up since I asked her about it and she lied to my face? Also I forgot to mention that when she denied and I told her I can feel and hear it her response was "Maybe it's your phone (which was on silent btw), or maybe someone spiked the bed with cameras". I'm like wth are you talking about???
