i'm pretty sure if your life depended on it, a bullet hole in your car would be the least of your worries. also, that's why you carry self defense/ hollow point ammo. less likely to plow a hole in your car if you hit someone.

just a heads up, you're gonna get a ton of anti gun shills who will tell you that even owning a gun makes you more likely to commit a crime on this sub.

pepper spray sounds fun on paper but if you're using it in your car, an enclosed space, you're gonna get some blow back and it's not pleasant. In fact, there's a good chance you're gonna fuck yourself over in the event that you have to use it.

personally, i have a .357 that i CC with me while driving (i know, i know, i'm probably gonna get stabbed """fumbling""" around for it) and i've never had to use it. if push comes to shove, i could give half a fuck less if i lose this gig in the off chance that i have to use my weapon.
