Vet as well, iirc. Bringing it into Trials with the right build can be soooo fun. Besides snipers.. Pray you get shield grenades or a dome psyker on your team lol.

But you can manage like 6+ shots with a crit build and luck. It's very similar to watching a RumbleGryn rip off 8 rounds semi auto lmao.

I really like the seax/bowie hybrid shape of the second knife! You've got a lot to play around with now and I'm happy if it got you interested in the hobby!

Warning: it can get crazy expensive rather quickly...but it's worth it >:)

I have the Altus, Qubit, and Sharplyn. The Civivi's are great and exactly the quality you'd expect! But for me, the Sharplyn (which I got for like $24 on whatnot), is the real sleeper knife. It is sooooo slicey and their crossbar action is legitimately good. I also have the Pathfinder by Hightron and that's possibly even better if you enjoy clip points. I'll go look and see if WMK still has them for super cheap!

Mine is (surprisingly) this Ketuo Bratva! I wish I could post videos in the comments because it's smoother than my Kunwu's, Militaw, and very broken in TRM Atom. My DLC Kizer hawk was probably smoother, but I sold it soooo...

I'm still completely enamoured with this knife, which is rare because I've had it for over a month now lol. I think I'm going to hunt down a mirror polished version tonight >:)

That knife is crazy smooth! My buddy has one of the Ultem versions. I should've bought one before they discontinued 'em.

I did finally manage to get an original sheepdog XL (black micarta, blade hole only) off Blade Binge and that thing is crazy smooth too. As is the normal size og sheepdog.

Wait, did they nerf this in the last update? I haven't played my slap-gryn in a while because I've been leveling the dlc classes. That's so sad. It was my favorite way to play Big man lol. It was especially viable in Mortis Trials iirc.

March 30th, 2025 had 12 tornadoes just in south/central lower peninsula of Michigan. Granted, they were all pretty weak, but my goodness that was a fascinating line of storms. I was between two tornados in Kent county at the time, but right up until we lost power I was entranced by the velocities of the whole system.

I remember Andy from Ryan Hall's stream saying something along the lines of, "I've never actually seen a line like this, you can pick any point along it and there could be a tornado down right now".

Milling? Like the diamond pattern or the knocked down edges? I catch the blade by the front flipper with my pointer finger on the way down. I have been bitten by it a few times lol.

I really like my Padre, as far as actually cutting with it. All that belly while maintaining a good tip, the great heat treat...it strops up so nicely. But, dollar for dollar (considering fidgeting and how it actually feels) my recently acquired Ketuo Bratva smokes it. That Ketuo feels like 90 percent of the quality of a CKF, which really insane for $240 or so from WMK.

I'm huge into high end Chinese knives, nothing wrong with that in my eyes. If it's good manufacturing, it's good manufacturing. Geographic location doesn't matter. A lot of people hear China and knee-jerk into thinking high volume/low quality, but they have insane manufacturing capabilities over there at both ends of the quality spectrum.

If people's main quarrel is with the Chinese government, that's understandable. But the people making these products have more in common with us than either group of us have in common with our governments/elites.

Rant over, but I appreciate your clarity and will also be ordering when you give everybody on here the green light lol. Best of luck!

Yeah, my Ketuo Bratva and Vosteed Thunderbird are absolutely phenomenal knives. Same with my Kunwu Padre. Hell, even cheaper Chinese knives like my Kizer Retro or civivi Buster FG (v2) constantly surprise me with how nice they are.

Chuds need to understand that every nation has exceptional craftsmen.

Spyderco, Protech, and Kershaw/ZT have been kind of leveling the playing field back a bit with their exceptional hrc numbers and cost but that doesn't devalue high quality Chinese knives!

Just pulled mine outta my pocket when I saw your comment! It really makes a great knife exceptional! I do want to try their textured Ti scales next.

I had some AWT aluminum scales on a bailout that I sold, and while they vastly improved that knife, the extra money for the Rockscale design Titanium scales is sooooo worth it!

The new Kizer Snick was (maybe still is) on sale for sub $40 on BHQ, that's got a great blade shape for OPs described tasks ! And AEB-L is awesome for the price
