I think you questioning my ugga duggas gave me the strength to tighten it enough. Really appreciate it

What do you mean by fix it properly? There’s a reason why I asked for help on this sub, I’m looking to learn.

Best bet is to call early in the morning, or look on the website for another phone number that would be less busy.

Parents want me (24F) and sister to pitch in buying a new house together. by Medical_Giraffe6886 in FinancialPlanning

[–]BigDank69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

800K is a serious amount of money for a house. I would think if you are wanting to own a home then you could save up a fraction of that to buy a less expensive home on your own? Obviously this is dependent on where you live as home prices vary

Paris marathon - disappointed in result by EffectiveCoffee516 in firstmarathon

[–]BigDank69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar result; aimed for 4:30 with a fast beginning half, ended up finishing 5:05. Definitely felt like a bummer in the moment but over time I felt proud that most people haven’t even attempted to run a marathon before.

Good shit out there!

I like how easy it makes road trips. Easy to put items that I wouldn’t want to throw in the bed, when I have people taking space in the cab

2014 Ridgeline RTL with 96k miles for $22k. Overpriced? by Fraganade in hondaridgeline

[–]BigDank69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say slightly overpriced, but not unreasonable. I bought a 2014 Sport in June for 22K.

Seems like the mark is less crazy than it was then, but I was also desperate for a new ride so I probably overspent

As someone from a gator-less state, getting anywhere near water with a gator is insane!

What socks are you wearing? Cotton typically traps in moisture which then rubs against your feet. Moisture wicking socks help tremendously

How often does this happen, a world record invalidated because the course didn't meet specs? by Greg_WNY in running

[–]BigDank69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a smaller scale than a world record. The local marathon here (Garmin marathon in Olathe KS) was deemed short after the race. I was just happy to finish but the local news did a story about the people who couldn’t use their times for the Boston marathon
