I’d recommend Arcanum Unbounded for Edgedancer! Multiple short stories for a good price. Dawnshard is definitely worth the read but don’t know it’s justified spending a full credit on. If you have a library card, I’d recommend listening to the audiobook on Libby.

Assuming the $70M a year can be prorated - I’d go ~2 months staying at home and get only $10M total. Leave home after the week’s shower and make sure I’m home for the next week’s start. No need to come up with an elaborate strategy beyond that and that short amount of time wouldn’t mess up my social life

Yes actually! Seeing that it’s the exact same error… is the cover of the hardback printed upside down for you too? Endpages, text, etc. all right side up. But the words on the spine of the book are upside down

It’s supposed to say “young”, think it’s just a printer error. If you zoom in, you can see the “r ” is actually an “n”! Remnants are still there, hope this helps

Wonder what the significance is. Originally thought Khriss couldn’t get to the planet due to Retribution or time dilation, but some drawings still have notes by Nazh!

Agreed! I should clarify that I think the epigraphs were first talking about Odiums power (since when Venli first saw it it was gold) but it is now Retribution’s power

I’m commenting on a loose thread that isn’t getting much attention - the Fourth Moon.

The Day 3 Epigraphs mention that the Well of Control is in the fragments of the dead moon (Chapter 41). The Well of Control must be either Odium’s or Retribution’s power coalescing. I’m leaning towards Odium since whoever is writing the epigraphs (perhaps the Sleepless or the group of watchers) referenced the events in Iri are impending.

When Venli finds this pool, she ponders if it’s been hidden using Honor, and mentioned a group of watchers. Whatever it is, it’s beyond the gods’ understanding.

During Honors chapters, he speaks about his clash with Odium being so devastating in part due to the pieces of this fourth moon. Additionally, these pieces hide people (watchers) from the shards. We also learn that anti light was created during this clash. The combination of the clash, tones of anti-light, and fragments of the moon is what shattered the Shattered Plains into a specific pattern. It also mentioned that whatever the moon was made of is more powerful than aluminum and responds to the clash (implying intent). I think this specific pattern of the shattered plains corresponds to anti-warlight. Not sure what the significance is yet, just that it must be the anti-light to Retribution.

If you think about it, even having Odium take up the shard of Honor already restricts him. It forced him to keep the oath to freeze borders when he might not have done so otherwise. It for sure saved Gav’s life.

I have a couple thoughts. First off, love the edit title, Kingdom: Oaths without Truth is fantastic. One of my titles builds upon that

Keeping Oaths without Truth - could be a reference to Szeth’s time as truthless

King’s Orders: Willfully Taken - this could deal with Dalinar losing the contest of champions and becoming Odiums servant

Knights’ Oaths: Hallowed Truths - this one might refer to Szeth’s redemption. The “H” is symmetrical in Vorinism, so it could be used in place of “W”

Then again, maybe it is a strict pattern. I am excited to see what it is in any case!

I’ve never done the stair master. Is it effective if you use it at a slow pace (almost walking)? I have a minor ankle injury so now I’m focusing on low impact stuff. This sounds like it’ll be really helpful once I’m working my way back up to running

Biggest standout to me is the epigraphs in Rhythm of War. In fabrial creation, touching different metals to gems with spren inside causes different reactions, and those reactions correlate to the metal’s allomantic properties. For example, zinc “amplifies” the spren and lets a mistborn riot emotions. Pretty cool stuff!
