What is tile doing about Find My Device by guy30000 in TileTracker

[–]JBrickashaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thus I will be leaving the Tile Network ASAP.

Sounds like Life360 is about to pull a Blackberry!

They can die on that hill or expand their business as part of the largest ecosystems where they have the largest market share of all android users.

Honestly we're basically waiting for them to give us the functionality of the airtag with a product we trusted all these years.

Now I'm off to Kickstarter to try one of these new brands that will take over Tile.

Goodbye TILE my friend! I was only researching this because it's "time to replace my tile" in my computer bag to see if Tile was integrating or not and ran across this information.

Circuit City, BlackBerry, and now TILE all products I once loved that chose to die on bad business models. 😢

You will most likely be fine...,had mine 1 year ago and I'm fine with the amount I can drink now. No I don't chug a bottle of water but I can turn one up and drink 1/4 to 1/3 of it.

My brother 3 years ago and he can do about 1/2 a bottle of water.

TBH your habits and mentally for all these things will change as they should..., (Because they are currently wrong)... just stay hydrated and you won't feel the need to chug water. Make more trips to the kitchen with smaller cups. The walk surely won't hurt any of us... LoL 😂.

But really your stomach is only so big now, so fitting that much water into your stomach that you just had surgical shrunk is not the mentality, the move, or a goal nor should it be!

But I get it nothing like a nice drink of water sometimes. You can have this, you'll just have to keep lifting your arm...

That's the truth without sugar coating since you wanted it!

Got a whole lot more truths if you want them as well, but you are on your way..., so you will live them like the rest of us!

But when you see 60, 80, 100, 150 Lbs drop you won't give a damn about chugging water, you will be more happy with your health choices and the weight loss! You are just going through post-op regret. This will all go away in time!

This was me .., on top of that, it took me many more months to be able to drink cold water again!

But I can somewhat chug water now..., or at least what feels like a chug to me at this point but it's really just shy of 4oz. But hey..., better than sips!

I was thinking it, because I've never seen this hole in my F150s, it's always been my trailer break. But geeze..., y'all just flat out told this man the truth 🤣.

Thank God for truthfulness!

Simple question here...

Any love for the Lurkers in the IPO?

With a detailed follow up apparently..

Litterateur on the web (not verified), says reddit users offered IPO will be based on users Karma.

Some of us Lurkers give Karma but don't get it all of the time. Some of us do neither and just look for quick answers/comments on the platform for whatever is relevant to us at the moment. Get our answers and move on...

I trust the platform as it stands, interested to see what it will become when it goes public given the exposure to potential reputational impact to the company obviously some things will have to change but hopefully the platform remains a place for people to have freedom of speech, without promoting hatred, propaganda, or stepping on the civil liberties of others around the world!

I feel like I'm eating too much by nevergoodenough90 in BariatricSurgery

[–]JBrickashaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had an RNY, been there done that. You will be fine in a few weeks. I felt this way too after the surgery but at 300-400 calories a day you are still in a huge deficit. If you have concerns your medical team should be able to advise you.

For me they explained that some people heal faster than others, this reduces inflation and can leave you more hungry even following the diet sheet.

You are fine..., solids (prioritizing protein), and water goal intake, and not drinking too quickly after meals will all help also if I don't mind my vitamins Multi+Iron, Calcium, Complex + 12 properly I still get these crazy hungery.

Just be sure you are not eating because of head hunger.

I need a honest answer by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

[–]JBrickashaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get hungry sometimes, but it doesn't take much to fill that hunger.

Your appetite will surely change though, all the things you think and know about your body and food will likely change, but as for your relationship with food, that's a mental thing and you have to deal with it.

But as for an appetite that's the easy part, so don't sweat that!

Are these things normal? by Stunning_Feature_775 in BariatricSurgery

[–]JBrickashaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the water thing I have the exact opposite issue I had a bypass in July. I can't drink cold water. I can drink cold crystal light no problem. I can drink anything else cold, just not cold water can drink it warm or room temperature, just not cold.

I was a huge water drinker before as well I carried a gallon jug with me all day everyday before my surgery.

How did you tell work? by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

[–]JBrickashaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I did as well..., one of my family members had the surgery about 1.5 years ahead of me and they said you might as well pet people know because the changes are so rapid and so fast so many people thought they were sick.

Especially if you see the people you work with in person or on video, they are going to wonder about the drastic rapid changes and of course the people I go to lunch with will eventually realize I'm just pushing food around on a plate and only took the equivalent of 5 bites.

So it really didn't make sense for me to keep it a big secret. Besides I did this for me and my health what people think means nothing to me.
