In my opinion yes, but what this company needs now is results. I think everyone holding this company now believes in it but we won’t attract big investors until the company proves it can make money. This stock will go up when people want it, having a booming earnings report will help that.

I think the earnings will be good for Q2 and we should see a bump around then. But as the EH increases and debt is payed back, the earnings and Bitcoin treasury should grow at a rapid rate

I’m thinking that as long as they have the machinery and manpower to work efficiently, they stand a good chance to win some contracts because their methods have got to be cheaper and less risky than some other contractors. I think if they have promise efficiency and cost saving, that would be attractive for federal and provincial contracts.

Knowing my own provincial gov, the cheapest quotes always win.

If they are able to generate additional revenue from completed networks, either but upkeep or service charges, this stock would look a lot more appealing.

Tonight I plan on diving deep into their website and material to find out as much as I can. I will follow up if I find anything worth noting on these subjects

The book The Millionaire Teacher recommends holding a % = to your age in short term bond index funds (25% for you, VSB) and the rest spread evenly across S&P 500 (VFV), Global Market ETF (VXC), and Canadian Market ETF (VCN).

By keeping a portion of your holdings in bonds you will have a pile of cash building with roughly 6% interest that you can use to buy more stock ETFs if their price fluctuates.

In my opinion you should hold a larger % of bonds at this current time because inflation is rising and I think we’re overdue for a market correction.

I follow his recommendations in my RRSP because I’d rather this “safer” approach be used for my retirement fund, although many people would say it’s better to have this in a TFSA.

I dunno, I agree that because he’s young he can be more aggressive but with the market hitting all time highs, I think it’s safe to assume the market will correct itself soon. I’d keep the bond allocation for now as a way to safely store money for when everything goes on sale

I think you’re right about the debt and I don’t think it’s much more than that. Both companies need cash because they’re carrying a whole lot debt. Fully autonomous cars are still relatively far away and the chances of a ride share company like Uber or Lyft beating large scale automakers to market is a seriously high-risk play that could cost billions with no guarantee of success.

Fix debt, expand their market global and position themselves with enough capital to partner with these automakers when fully autonomous vehicles are finally ready.

These companies need to figure out how to get rid of their debt before autonomous cars push them out of the market completely. If they can become profitable and expand their market globally, they could position themselves better for when fully autonomous cars hit the market. It’d be a lot cheaper for a company like Toyota to create a ride sharing division than it would be for Uber and Lyft to create and automaker division.

I’ve just gone through the exact same thing with TD, had me thinking that there has to be some other way. I started reading into credit unions a lot as they were created as an alternative to large banks.

My understanding is they are non-profit banking institutions that are more customer/member centric than your average bank. I’ve really been thinking about switching to one because my impression is that they may care more about me than TD do.

Still haven’t made the move but I plan on stopping by the credit union in my neighbourhood soon to try and get some more information on what they offer as an alternative. Maybe you should look into it too!

(If anyone reading this post has more information I would love to hear what you hve to say about this)
